I have used Drake's for a few years with no problems until now! Which is unfortunate as their product was very good, but I am sad to say that I won't be using Drake's again due to the following reasons and information I have recently encountered.

I placed an online order with the merchant via their Shopify-hosted checkout platform. Upon completing the payment step, a screen notification confirmed that the transaction was successful, but stated it was unable to route me back to the merchant's main site. No order confirmation email or order number was ever received.
Due to the site error, I have attempted to contact the merchant multiple times via email and telephone to secure my order confirmation. Every phone call returns a constant engaged signal, and my subsequent emails are hard-bouncing back to me via the Postmaster, indicating the merchant's customer service infrastructure is completely non-functional.
After checking Drake's I found various concerns:
Drake's have several trading identities and or company names to which raise concerns.
These corporate entities are deeply connected structural iterations of the same underlying "Drake's E-liquid" brand, and they are experiencing significant corporate distress.
The brand operates (or has operated) under different legal designations to handle manufacturing, brand assets, and retail:
Drake's Extracts Ltd (Company No. 10776876): Historically the core entity responsible for creating the naturally extracted tobacco (NET) flavourings that Drake's is famous for.

Drakes Vapes Limited (Company No. 15291439): The active corporate vehicle handling current retail operations. Their official website explicitly lists Drakes Vapes Limited as the operating merchant.

"Drakes E-Liquid": This is primarily the trading name used on packaging, branding, and customer-facing channels, though the website domain (drakeseliquid.com) lists its physical operating location at Station Works, Lincoln, matching the official corporate address for Drakes Vapes Limited.

It would seem that the brand is in severe corporate and regulatory distress. These structural transitions are clear indicators of structural wind-downs and potential insolvency protection.

Entity Name: Current Legal Status Financial Reality.

Drake's Extracts Ltd Active — Proposal to Strike Off. This entity is heavily overdue on mandatory filings (with accounts missing by hundreds of days). The compulsory strike-off process indicates it has effectively ceased regulatory compliance.

Drakes Vapes Limited: Active.
This is the newer vehicle keeping the brand alive. However, it has seen recent disruption, including major changes to Persons with Significant Control (PSC) and directors resigning or exiting their stakes.

Drakes used to supply mattsvapeshop with their e liquid but after waiting 6 months for them to deliver a order I placed i gave up, down £300 this is why I hate being in the vape industry sometimes

I have been a regular customer for some time now and what can I say? Drakes vapes make the best Net tobacco juices in the world! And I have tried a few.
The customer service Mr John McLeish provides is "out of this world". I had a problem with Paypal and John sent me my order 1st class before receiving any payment! That is how he treats his regular customers!
What a Gem this company! and so generous too! I had many gifts from him.

Currently vaping Drakes VG 70/PG 30 on a Titanide Phoebe 30 tank with Kangertech VOCC T 1.5ohm organic cotton coil at around 10w, and getting some beautiful natural flavors. I will definitely order some more Drakes when my existing supply runs out.

Great eliquids but woeful, non-existent customer service (X4 messages, all ignored). Used to be one of the best out there, no idea what has happened but it is now a shambles (e.g. website states "free delivery for orders over £25" and "free delivery for orders over £30" i.e. nonsensical!!). Get you act together Drakes, you used to be the best!

Non-existent customer service, ordered 5 shortfill bottles of eliquid in sale, only 4 arrived.
Despite emails etc. no response at all from company.
Completely cancelled sale discount - can’t say if it was deliberate, as no contact! Check your order carefully!
Update - John contacted me and sent the missing product. He should still monitor their customer email and web contact form.

I've been using NET tobacco juices over the years and struggled to find a British producer and supplier of good quality juice, until I found Drakes. I love Virginia and Burley and have been very impressed with the range from Drakes. Awesome flavours and quality and the prices are very good! Next day delivery too and had a nice freebie from the owner with one of my orders! so all in all it's an easy 5 stars from me. If you enjoy high quality NET juice like I do, then Drakes is the place to embrace...

I just want to say that John from drakes is awesome!
I bought whiskey eliquid 60 ml longfill.
John called me to say it was out of stock but had 50 ml shortfill. He also offered to hand deliver it as he was relatively local.
Due to various traffic issues he couldn’t deliver when he said , so gave me another liquid as a goodwill gesture and delivered both , by hand the following day! The man went above and beyond his remit, and I can’t thank or praise him enough. I’m more than happy to recommend John and drakes liquid. First class all round. Something you rarely find these days.

Have been dealing with drakes for awhile now and have got to say that since John has taken over the service and customer care is 2nd to none I have never had any problems with deliveries quick prompt service, John recently contacted me over a out of stock item alternative items chosen and order was dispatched,John you are a gentleman and I take my hat off to you it's nicely know there are some genuine customer caring people out there keep up the good work as you have some of the finest NET'S out there its a pleasure dealing with drakes and would highly recommend 👍👍

Consistently excellent products and consistently excellent customer service.

I've bought several of their e-liquids over the past few months and the experiences have been universally great. Of the ten or so N.E.T. vapes I've bought only one wasn't to my personal taste, and that liquid could well suit others. For me they are particularly good at producing the cigar based liquids - Havana Reserve, Maduro Ligero and the stunning Ecuadorian Seco. The oak aged liquids are also particularly strong - Virginia Oak is possibly the best Virginia Vape I've tried. The short fills are very good value - if you like natural flavours you can't go wrong.

Customer Service has been first rate - prompt dispatch and well-packaged, and checks on arrival during a short period when Royal Mail weren't at their most reliable.

Drakes liquid made it possible for me to quit smoking this year. Artificial tobacco juices were just overly sweet and didn't do it for me. I started with Drakes virginia. It was only slightly sweet with lovely earthy notes were just so beautiful compared to anything Artificial.

I then tried the kentucky fire cured which is a special Drakes juice with notes of the woody kentucky tobacco with smoky bonfire notes.

John provided excellent customer service and went the extra mile. He is the new management from this year apparently. A lot of things were showing out of stock on the website that weren't actually out of stock. Its just because he was in the process of getting everything setup. So mentioned how much I loved this kentucky fire cured that was not showing in stock and he threw in some of it in concentrated form free of charge with my order.

The price is great and orders came very snappy.

I learned a lot about it over the year.

These are standard naturally extracted tobacco juices that have been extracted and filtered correctly resulting in coloured, but clear liquid.

I started by using them in my pod system only to find that a gunk would start to build in the pod after about 5-10ml. This is normal for NET. The workaround I figured out was to not use a pod system and use RTAs instead. This way when gunk builds up too much I can just easily throw away the extremely cheap bit of cotton. Dry burn and clean the extremely cheap coil I made or replace it each time. This dramatically Cuts cost and also provided a superior vaping experience to those ready to go systems.

Vaping NET is a niche that requires a bit of skill.

Yes, there are ways to filter or extract it for use in pods while retaining flavor in a clear non coloured liquid. However, you lose flavour of some of the beautiful notes this way. These techniques are also more costly and command 3x what Drakes cost and Drakes clearer liquids aren't too gunky as the darker ones. All eliquid gunks a bit. I have used gunkier artificially flavoured liquid that gunk my pod quickly.

I have tried all the different suppliers arround the globe now and I will say that Drakes NET liquid is a credit to the UKs NET vaping industry. They are good quality products for sure, and I continue to use them on a daily basis. The best deal arround. When you try all the different brands you will find that while there are other good ones, it don't get no better quality than this and the price certainly doesn't get any better.

I have used Drake's NETs for years back to when Naturevape were stocking their products.
The liquids have always been top notch.
Under the new ownership the service has been 1st class, John is 1st class.I had a small problem with my 1st order with John and after contacting via online chat he rang me up and sorted the problem.That is the mark of customer service.Multiple orders later and the quality of the liquid still remains top notch.
Drake's liquids have to be the best value NETs on the market.
I have no hesitation in buying and recommending Drake's to any vaper.

Drakes Virginia is one of the best Virgina's you can buy definitely the best value between £ and quality.

Been using drakes since I started vaping around three years ago now and if you like true Virginia eliquids they are one of the best.

Worth a note also , don't know why or how but I've noticed drakes net's seem to keep my cotton cleaner for longer than other net's. Can easily go two days without rewicking provided I don't change eliquid on the Virginia which for an net is impressive.

Myself & my husband have been vaping for years, one of his mates at work mentioned Drakes so we bought a couple of bottles of liquid about three months ago.

Since then we've been back three times & each time we order more, the liquids are absolutely spot on, beautiful taste, not strong but quite subtle however the flavours are certainly there which is exactly what we like.

John who seems to run Drakes is very efficient, I place my order & it gets sent out on time with no mistakes & no waiting.

Hopefully Drakes will be around for a very long time to come as these have now become the only liquids we even buy as nothing else comes close.
