By far the worst theme park in the United Kingdom. Let’s start with the operations — easily the worst I’ve ever seen. Most attractions run at less than half of their possible capacity, and rides... See more

Would recommend
We tend to go once a year and have been for the past few years now. Queuing during summer season is about an hour on the bigger rides, but that is to be expected. I would recommend as it has something for all ages..
very overcrowded, only managed to get on two rides the entire day
went to drayton manor about a month ago with three friends. i've been there many times before in the past, but this time was unlike any other time i've been there previously:
usually i don't mind waiting an hour for one (maybe two) busy rides at a theme park, but even after arriving as the park opened every single ride's queue that we could see was packed, with most if not all of them overflowing outside their designated queueing areas - there were people everywhere, which i (as someone who is rather sensitive to noise and crowds) found a bit overwhelming really. we only managed to get on two rides the day we were there because we ended up waiting well over an hour for both... we decided we didn't want to stand waiting for another ride without shade while the sun was at its hottest so we went for a walk around the zoo instead. the zoo was also very busy, but we did get to see a variety of animals. however, after stopping for a while we struggled to navigate back to the park because of a lack of useful signs and a confusing one-way system that people seemed to be ignoring anyways. we had a go at the carnival games on the way back which were expensive for what they were, before we decided we'd had enough for the day and left a few hours earlier than we'd planned.
overall, we all found the day quite tiring as we'd been standing up most of the time (the seating areas in our vicinity were completely full) and the fact that we got to do so little after saving up our money to go was rather frustrating... and personally, i found my experience poor. i'd say drayton manor is not worth my time and money anymore. if they were to put a limit on admissions to shorten queues for rides and to reduce crowds around the park in general it would solve the majority of these problems and it would certainly feel worth it to me. i don't think i'll be going there again... which is bit of a shame really as i've had such a great time there in the past but the sheer number of people they allow into the park post-covid has really changed the atmosphere.
Terrible Customer Services!
Terrible Customer Services!
I made the mistake in the begining by not reading everyhting on the web site, so i tried to change the dates on the tickets for nearly to two moneths,
at first i tried going throught their customer service email were i was proptly told i could change it throught the web site, which i searched the wed site to not find a thing, i asked how with no answer... (they say on the customer services emil they try and get to you in seven working days and the next email is fourteen wroking days...) I tried to ring the customer services number to be told by a memeber of the hotel staff that the number is useless, same goes for the other number they give you one facebook, the messanger is the only to get the most coversation out of them but it will primarily be to a computer with a person once or twice a day if that.
If you want to sort you tickets out I would try a do it properly the first time, because the customer services route is a complete nightmare!!
I wont waist my money again!!!
Our large tribe of kids .
Our large tribe of kids and grandchildren had a wonderful day there .Yes I had to take out a 2nd mortgage for it. A day out is better than being at work . A good day out, will go again. Unlike the Coventry building society who used a forged mortgage to steal an OAPs home. The court case caused him to stop eating and taking his medication. He died a scared broken man. Coventry building society does it really take 10 years to show him the unsigned mortgage he never signed?
Drayton having a nightmare with queuing…
Drayton having a nightmare with queuing today. 3 huge queues and they are different depending on how you bought your tickets. But with no signs
We and many others waited in the queue only to get to the end and find it was the wrong one and we had to start again.
Poor organisation at the Manor

Was looking at booking to go but I'm not going to bother and give the theme park a miss. I've always loved this place and it's always been affordable but just priced up 1 child who is 6 nearly £25 and disabled person and carer £35 each absolute rip off. I think you need to look at your offers and prices. Most places offer free return in 12 months like your other site west Midlands safari park.
Dispute settled speedily
Redone review.... I was mad over them over not advertising no rides on properly but they kindly emailed me back with replacement tickets and that's settled my heart so Thankyou drayton manor
Children disappointed
Waste of money my children did not have a good day most of the rides was closed only Thomas land open did not stay long tried to get a refund and not even contacted me back
Fabulous Santa experience from start…
Fabulous Santa experience from start to finish the whole set up was great just like it’s been for the last seven years except for last year when it wasn’t on due to COVID -been every year and they never disappoint well worth the money it’s the best Santa experience- he’s always got time to speak to the children and it never feels rushed -This year the children had a choice of gifts which was excellent and the parents had hot chocolate and mince pies bonus included in the price

Visited Thomasland on Saturday with my daughter and grandson and his friend unfortunately had to leave early as my grandson became ill but luckily got to do the Santa experience which was fantastic and well worth the money
We ate in the burger place as it was the only thing open the food was disgusting my daughter had a hair in her burger the staff were rude and replaced it with a stone cold burger which I suspect was the same one with the hair removed my grandson was ill do we left early and his friend was ill the day after could have a link with the awful food
Had the dining experience been good I would have given a five purely down to the Santa experience and the fabulous staff working there
No missing child's policy in place!!!
Hotel is dirty, website and adverts lie
Hotel is dirty and the smell of rotten pumpkins as you enter the hotel is strong. Remove the rotten ones.
I went through 6 plates at breakfast time until I found some clean ones. No one about to tell so I left them out the way. Member of staff looked at them and put them back.
Cutlery dirty. Disgustingly dirty with food on them. See photo.
Room so dirty bed sheets are stained and we have to move rooms. Next room there was paint in the bath along with human hair, not ours.
This is just the beginning. So much more to write about but I have to send them an email. No one there when I left to talk to.
Was told they would sort out a refund but then when I came to leave nothing sorted and I was asked to send an email.
Wow. What a shame, there are some staff there which went out their way to help others clearly didn’t care.
Did not get anywhere near the experience or enjoyment their website says.
Thomas land is brilliant for the kids.
Hotel and other parts of the park is run down and ran by staff who don’t care.
Which is a shame as there are some staff. 3 only which were great and really helped out when others wouldn’t.
Drayton Manor. You have my email and contact details. If you can be bothered, please contact myself. I will be sending in an email as requested. Don’t just write the usual reply of we are sorry please contact us
Far too expensive for what it is
Far too expensive for what it is
Never any offers on like alton towers has
Health and safety not good
Health and safety not good. Window sill fell on my daughter when waiting in ride queue injuring her hand and foot. Luckily it was not her head or it could of killed her
Overpriced, but…
My young daughter and I live about 7 miles away from here, so we have been here a lot in recent years. I have also been here a lot over the last 40 years.
The last time we came here, the place looked and felt tired and very badly maintained. Rides closed / half dismantled. Low staff morale, buildings derelict / falling to bits etc. To the point where I decided not to go back again.
However, I decided to give it another look since the new owners have taken over to see if any improvements have been made.
A good decision, as although it is clear improvements and changes are ongoing, a lot has been done to facelift the park already. Fresh paint everywhere, very clean toilet facilities. All rides open. Chirpy and friendly staff with excellent customer service skills.
We went on a Saturday in September, and the number of visitors there was just about right. Yes, queues for rides - but not a ridiculous amount of time wasted waiting to get on them.
Hand sanitiser stations were virtually non existent or broken… but my approach to that, is simply ‘take your own’ if it bothers people that much. I always carry hand sanitiser, so the lack of hand sanitiser at the park didn’t bother me.
2 things that bothered me about the day:
- There are still gangs of teenagers drifting around and giving it the big one, using horrendous foul language / smoking / vaping, and being a general nuisance - in an environment that’s designed for / packed full of young families / toddlers / young children. Not cool.
- Ticket prices and a car park fee on top of that is in my opinion, overpriced for what you get. Considering Alton Towers is near the same price, for a much better experience (at the moment).
Great to see some signs of a comeback at DMP! ☺️
Disappointed: overcrowded/long ques.
Visited on 25.8.2021
Disappointed: overcrowded, looks like they oversold. Ride waiting times so disappointing, with having children was 60-90minutes, standing and waiting for a 3-5minute ride. The park sure didn’t have people’s safety and to have a good experience in mind, looks like just making money was their priority. Such a disappointing day today, spent so much for nothing.
DISGUSTING COMPANY-
DISGUSTING COMPANY-
We travelled for 3 hours, and spent over £180.00 to stand around in queues unable to ride the entire day.
They're were thousands of people with only a few rides to go around, and no limit to the amount of people who could enter!!
To top this off our 3 kids was rudely told they couldn't go on the dodgems after queuing for 1.5 hours!! We also overheard the overweight white man shouting at some older kids at the top of his voice to not to run to the dodgems after they had queued for almost two hours!
Disgusting customer service all the way round, the best way to describe the hyped up funfair is ; its a scam.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. We paid £147.00 to visit Thomas Land yesterday an arrived to an over crowded place with queues longer than 1.5 hours for thomas land, and for every or any ride. We managed to go on one ride the entire day with 2 5 year olds.
The skinny guy running the flying chair ride, appeared to be under the influence wearing black glasses and sniffing constantly with a strange look on his face.
Huge concerns for safeguarding on these rides, and absolutely horrified with the amount of people they let in, knowing 1000's of us would not get to ride!!!!!!!
Honestly don't think I'd be returning
Honestly don't think I'd be returning. The congestion into the park was ridiculous. One road filtered with cars coming both ways and a ridiculous wait of 1 1/2 hrs to actually get onto the premises. Then the car park was madness not only spending a ridiculous amount on tickets but cost of £6 for parking added. Another long queue to the toilets which there was a lack of upon entry. Another half an HR to get my e ticket booked in literally left us with hardly any time left after all the faffing. Went on storm force 10 no social distancing far to many people in the park we were the only ones in masks. Queues ridiculous for every ride. Didn't go on much at all waste of money and time. Best part was the chicken diner 🤣 avoid if you would prefer to get on actual rides instead of waiting in queues and watching
Absolute rip off and a total waste of…
Absolute rip off and a total waste of time.
We went today after planning for over a month and telling our 3 year old that he was going to Thomasland. Our tickets cost us over £80 and we expected not to be going on the rest of the theme park due to the age of our little boy.
During our 5 hours in the park we managed to get on only 3 rides in Thomasland because of the ridiculous overcrowding and queues!
The park SHOULD NOT be allowing so many people in! There were no Social Distancing enforcements, the queues for every single ride in Thomasland were an hour plus and the games we played to try and win our son a toy were totally unfair and stupidly expensive. I don’t doubt for one minute that the hook a duck has the right numbers under them to equate to a large prize.
We left the park disappointed with a very upset 3 year old little boy, after we told him he couldn’t go on the rides he’d set his heart on.
Drayton manor need to seriously take a look at crowd control. Thomasland is for little children and no child should have to queue for anything for an hour, ever.
A complete rip off and I have made a complaint to Drayton manor.
We spent well over £100 on a day that was totally pointless. The McDonald’s on the way home was the best part of the day.
