We met Alex (the owner and main agent) before we ever started looking for property through a chance and unrelated encounter. We got along very well from the start and when we decided it was time to look for property on Gran Canaria she sprung to action and was immediately helpful. The process of buying a house here for foreigners is undefined at best (you are NOT prepared for what will come up!), and as such it was quite the journey. Alex was extremely generous and gracious with her time and effort, and after seeing about five different properties and finding one we loved, she was with us through the entire process (which ended up taking seven months if you can imagine.. by no fault of hers!). Of particular value were sage warnings and considerations regarding hidden complications which lurk within many seemingly 'perfect' properties here, again you just cannot imagine how bizarre some things here are; you'll need professional guidance - and I am the last person who would normally insist on it!
Another thing which was a godsend is that Alex has a close team of external services, architectural, legal, banking, notarial, etc. Without their already well developed relationships and coordination I cannot imagine how long this process would have taken or if indeed we would have ever managed to buy the property we now happily live in!
