Terrible customer service - product never arrived
Terrible customer service. Phone number routes to an external call message service where the staff are lovely, but cannot do more than take a message and advise you will receive an email response.
4 phone calls, leaving 4 messages since 20 Jan have all gone unanswered. I also sent 3 emails without any reply.
If the website is correct, the product was in stock and ready to ship. My order from 8 Jan 2023 is still undelivered. I don't mind problems with shipping or stock issues - so long as they keep me (customer) informed. I'll now use PayPal to seek a full refund and will avoid purchasing anything from Dreamland (Imetec) again.
Customer service is the easy part of running a business; how do so many get it so wrong?

PayPal refunded. I suspect I'm luckier than anyone who discovers a fault or problem later on.

Updating my recent review of heated blanket manufacturer Dreamland . This company is to be avoided at all costs . Their customer service is non-existant, and they avoid direct contact with an outsourced call centre that carries no customer order details .
Having not received a blanket ordered on December 13th 2022 , I final forced a refund this week ( 3rd Feb 2023 by raising a PayPal repayment case .
At no point have Dreamland shown any contrition or accountability nor replied to any of my approaches .
In fact their customer services manager , when phoned directly , replied ‘ no comment ‘ when challenged on their inadequacies . All in all a disreputable business model , that deserves investigation , in my opinion .
I wonder how much in customer remittances they hold without actually supplying product.
John Lewis show none of their products available for online order . That seems to say a lot .

Like so many others I ordered a heated throw on 9 December 2022. It has still not been received. I have contacted the company numerous times by phone and email but no response. It is not possible to speak to anyone who can help directly when you phone. Your enquiry is supposedly passed on but this doesn’t happen. Shocking customer service. Do Not use this company. The throw cost £60 and was a Christmas present!

I was worried, having ordered a heated blanket in December then checking the reviews on here afterwards. The website said I would receive an email confirming dispatch & that they used DPD. No dispatch email & no response to an email sent by me querying this however my blankie arrived 10 days after the order date, delivered by Menzies Distribution. I wonder how many others who left negative reviews have now received their order? We are always so quick to complain but sometimes forget to update our negative experiences.

Ordered a heated blanket for £110 on 10th Dec. After over a month, numerous phone calls, where generally they can't help you, but will get "tracking" or "delivery" or "refunds" to call you back...then funny old thing, not one single call back!! Sometimes an email stating they will look into it.
Despite my legal rights to get a refund after 30 days, nothing! I guess that only leaves court action. How can a UK company act like this to the British consumer?
Please read this an avoid.
Don’t order from this company!
Like all the other recent reviews I have ordered a heated blanket, said to have been in stock at the time of order which hasn’t been delivered. Attempts to contact the company have gone unresponded to. So wish I hadn’t made the order and urge others to avoid. They are a fraudulent shambles right now.
AVOID THIS COMPANY
My experience mirrors exactly the comments left in other reviews which should act as a warning to anyone thinking of buying from this company(Dreamland owned by Imetec) . The products are good but I strongly suggest you purchase elsewhere like Argos or John Lewis. If you decide to buy direct then never pay by debit card. Use a form of payment where you have protection for non receipt of goods like I did. Whoever is responsible for customer service should be sacked immediately, but going by my experience I suspect nobody is responsible. If the directors of this company read these reviews they should be duly concerned that their company name and reputation is being utterly trashed by the lack of service and treatment of their customers. It needs such basic commercial skills to see the issue and the way to fix it is equally simple. They come across as a sham company when you call and I wonder how desperate the staff are for jobs that they are so willing to sell their souls to this devil and constantly blatantly lie to you down the phone. I don’t believe Lesley Clarke exists and any email replies you receive are designed purely to fob you off. The person that answers the phone will give you a false name and pretend to be customer service for which you have to call a dedicated number. They will tell you they have no access to the system to check the status of your order and offer to take you details and get someone to call you. They must have a book of excuses because I’ve heard so many it’s a joke…like our servers are down because of the cold weather! When I challenged this and explained servers work best in colder environments they stalled and then told me only the despatch department can provide an update and they’ll get someone to email me immediately. I asked how that was was going to be possible if their servers were down…silence! I could go on because my experience seemed never ending and I wasted so much time and energy. I’ve written this review to hopefully help others avoid the same issues and utter frustration.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They are quick to take your money, but delivering your goods, is a different matter! I asked when ordering on 10/12/22, if I would receive this by Christmas. They told me it would take up to 7 days. Last Friday, I received notification from DPD, they had received notification of the order from Dreamland, but hadn’t received the parcel. This was still the same by Monday, so I contacted Dreamland. They told me Dpd would inform me when they received the parcel. On Tuesday, still the same response on the DPD app. I contacted Dreamland again. They told me to wait until the end of the day & if I’d still heard nothing to contact them back. I’ve sent 3 emails since then & Dreamland haven’t replied once! It’s obvious with the other negative reviews, there customer service is zilch & I wonder if this company really exists!

Well all I will say is “what Becky said”!! I placed my order on 12th December and exactly the same has happened.
These people are USELESS! What’s hilarious, is that I spoke to the same girl yesterday, and she was helpful and told me that she found my order and was rushing it through for me.
Today, she didn’t have the authority to look up order details; really??? They will also take any name/email, even if it isn’t associated to the order.
I am going to spend the day calling them repeatedly until I get what I paid for.
Please DO NOT ORDER from this company. I am beginning to think they are dodgy.
Terrible service from the company
This is not a criticism of the products but the company itself. I ordered a heated throw on 10th December 2022 and received a confirmation email telling me I would receive a notification when the product was dispatched with DPD. It's now 20th December and I've heard nothing. I've called two days in a row and each time I've been asked for all my details - which they already have with the order. Apparently they can't search the order number to find them. They have no information. They apparently will call back but can't tell me when. I asked if they were talking hours, weeks or months, They said they couldn't say. This was ordered as a Christmas present - it's clearly not going to arrive now. I've asked for my money back - they also can't confirm when that will happen.
