Awful experience from start to finish

Awful experience from start to finish. Ordered a suit for a specific event over a month in advance. Did not turn up for 5 weeks without hearing a thing and after chasing them up repeatedly. When it did turn up it was as if they had chosen measurements at random. Complete and utter shambles. Do not waste your time and or money.

Dear Mr Gibby,
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback about your experience at Dress2kill.

Firstly it is important to point out that your review is not entirely accurate. Your suit was delayed by 7 days and did not take 5 weeks. This delay was due to our couriers DPD and was outside of our control. I am very sorry if you were inconvenienced by this delay.

Secondly, you provided us with your measurements, one of which was for your chest size which you put down as 49 inches when in fact it should have been 42 inches. Please understand that we can only make the suits with the measurements we are provided with. However were happy to take responsibility for this and offered you a full refund.

I apologise if our communication was not satisfactory - we will address this moving forward.

When we were told about your dissatisfaction, we tried everything possible to resolve the situation - We even asked one of our Directors to call to communicate with you. We would still like to have the opportunity to make you a suit you will be happy with and turn this experience into a positive. Please call us to discuss.

Regards

Very Helpful

I went in to Dress2kill having been recommended by a friend. I was seen by a very helpful guy called Sam who helped me choose one of their medium weight cloths. I then went back a few months later for my fitting. Although the suit felt slightly on the heavy side, I have to say it wears well and has lasted. I would definitely recommend but if wanting a suit for the Summer you should go for one of their lighter weight cloths.

Great Product and Service

Well, I ordered a grey suit in 2012, no issues with measuring or delivery. In fact, I get stopped in the street by people asking me where I got the suit... One guy said I looked a "million dollars"... Sounds cheesy but that says it all. I've ordered another suit in dark blue for work reasons.. So far no problems...
I'll say one thing though, if any company screws up, they should go out of their way to make amends...

You get what you pay for, I suggest you don't

PRICE - A cheaper option but you get what you pay for. My suit was weeks late and took a lot of annual leave and chasing on my part to get it to me in time for my wedding.

QUALITY - poor, my suit button was hanging off within an hour of wearing it.

COMMUNICATION and CUSTOMER SERVICE- their word was never kept when told "they would get back to me". Great to my face, emails ignored, great difficulty speaking to anyone that could help with regards to getting my suit or trying to get their faults repaired.

I've ended up with a mediocre suit with missing buttons and ignored by them now that I have the suit. I wouldn't recommend them for anything.

Dear Robert, I am very sorry you have had this experience with Dress2kill. This is certainly not the service we normally provide. Unfortunately bespoke suiting is not an exact science and sometimes errors do occur like buttons falling off. zPlease bring the suit back in and we will rectify any issues you may have. We certainly don't want your suit to be mediocre.
Re the poor communication, please let me look in to this and find out why your were not communicated with better. We are not perfect by any means but we are trying to offer the best service we can at an affordable price. Thanks to comments such as yours we can see where we may be going wrong and make sure they don't happen in the future. Thanks once again and please let us rectify the button you mention and leave you with a suit better than just mediocre.
Kind regards

Dress to kill their customers

First time buying a made to measure suit so went into to be properly measured rather than using the website on the hopes that the first suit would be good and I would become a repeat customer.

Suit came back but was so poorly fitted had to be sent back. These guys use an off-shore tailor (they won't say who which is dubious).

Many cancelled appointments later, turns out the suit had been lost. They had tried to stall for a couple of weeks instead of owning up which is the bit that really gets me.

They did offer to remake the suit but it had been 3 months by this stage and the £25 compensation offered was just kick in the nuts.
Terrible attitude towards customers.
