Poor quality paint used in lettering, unable to read inscription in only 12 months
12 months ago, Drew Memorials made a memorial cremation stone for us, in memory of my mother. At the same time they refurbished my sisters stone, as the lettering had become faded. We were not happy with the quality of the work carried out with the refurbishment of my sisters stone, they took it back and tried again, but it still was not great, but to be fair to them, they waived the cost of that, so at least that was fair.
The reason that I am now writing this review, 12 months later is because the gold lettering on both my sisters stone and also my mums stone has completely gone, you cannot read the lettering at all. My dad visits every couple of weeks to make sure that the stones are clean and tidy and it breaks his heart to see them looking in such a state.
So we now have to find another company to redo this work, it really should last more than 12 months!
We have not gone back to Drew Memorials again with this complaint, because to be frank, I do not trust them to repair it properly. I would rather pay extra to have someone else carry out the work.
