Mary's gin
The drink itself is quite smooth but I found it a little overpowering tasted very herbal had to use limes and lemon slices this seemed to improve it overall nice drink refreshing without the hangover next day so that's a plus

Great botanical flavour.
This botanical gin was a lovely surprise. Really good flavour, perfect with tonic. Perfect for drinking outside on a hot day when the lower alcohol content is better to enjoy the drink but not feel the impact of the standard 40% proof.
I will buy Mary fin again.

As quite heavy a drinker
As quite heavy a drinker, I like to make my sports with a boost, especially when I run in my neighborhood, in an urban atmosphere full of car gases. That does the trick. I put half water and half Mary in my tin and sip it when I need a boost, it changes from my usual mint syrup, it's like fresh air from the Alps and I quite enjoy that.

Mary gin - doesn't do it for me
Bought some Mary gin after reading some reviews. Obviously didn't do enough research: the first impression is that it tastes like water, followed by a horrid medicinal aftertaste. Not for me 😖 👎
Thanks for the reply. Obviously I know it's not meant to be drunk neat, but you get a better idea of the depth of a drink if you have a sip of it neat. I then tried a few sips with tonic but I'd rather have my fevertree neat. It spoils it rather than enhances it, on my palate at least. I'm glad others like it but it's really not for me.

A great refreshing drink
Really enjoying my bottle of Mary Botanical Blend. It’s a very refreshing drink and would be ideal for a summer bbq as well as an alternative to a G&T . The only reason I’ve given 4* and not 5 is that it’s a devil to get into the bottle !! The plastic stopper is ridiculously tight and takes a bit of fighting to get it off !! But once removed ... a delicious drink !

Hi Pamela, oh gosh! We're terribly sorry about the rough wrestle you've had with Mary. We've found similar issues that we're investigating on some of the corks, it seems when the bottle is stone cold the cork is pretty hard to get out. For that reason we'd recommend not keeping the bottle refrigerated.
Glad you had a delicious experience after your workout though. We're hoping more drinks with Mary on warm summer days will make your experiences much easier :)

My daughter introduced me to this and for various health reasons I switched to Mary's, I love it, it is refreshing and light and really does the trick when you fancy a drink without feeling guilty and waking with a hangover, not that I have had so many in one go, yet! I have highly recommended this product to friends my age who are also looking to consume less alcohol as we age gracefully! 😉
