*AVOID THIS COMPANY*

*DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY*... I bought a whiskey advent calender from them that was sold out everywhere else. They had one left so I went ahead and got it. NONE of the whiskeys displayed in the image of the calender were actually in the box itself. It was clear they had just taken the image from another site and put it on theirs to get a sale. Clear false advertisement. I've contacted their customer service department and I've had no response. Absolute disgrace how companies are allowed to get away with this sort of thing. Again, DO NOT USE and avoid like the plague!!!

Theribble service

Theribble service, i had to wait 3,5 weeks and nothing came. I checked the track and trace. I told me it was delivered. Which wasn;t. No wine no card from DHL.
I complained where the wine was delivered. After checking it wasn;t delivered but had been stored in a certain place. Noone told me where. The solution was i had to paid extra the sippingcosts. Twice! For what? I asked why do i get punished for this? And now it has been returned to spain. Stick it where the sun don't shine.

Buyer beware!

I made an order from them nearly two weeks ago. They cleverly don’t reveal that they are merely an intermediary. As it turns out my order was in reality two. One from a vendor which I received within a couple of days, the bulk of it from a vendor I’ve not heard from nor do they tell you who the vendor is. Yesterday I called Drinks&co and spoke to a Jenny who at first said it was a mistake with my address, well that doesn’t explain why part of the order arrived in two days not to mention that my address is correct as seen on their system. Nevertheless after insistence she agreed to contact the merchant and get back to me shortly; she didn’t. Today I had to call again. First I was attended by someone who at best I could describe as perfectly rude whose best argument was that I was being assisted by ‘Jenny’ so nothing she could do. I had to lower myself to her level and insist on speaking to Jenny, eventually this was accomplished. Jenny said the mystery merchant had failed to reply to her queries and this is why she broke her promise to get back to me, BUT to be assured today she would; it’s nearly 10 pm local time and not a word. I deeply regret having done business with Drinks&Co but this mistake will not be repeated, I take the time to write this review solely with the hope of sparing the rest of you.

Wrong wine shipped - no response from customer service

I ordered 12 bottles of Catena Malbec (£131 inc delivery), and received a delivery around 5 days later... but of a different wine.

I'm still waiting for a response, and will update this review once the situation has (hopefully) been resolved.

UPDATE 9 April

Uvinum passed the order to Great Wines Direct in the UK for fulfillment, and therein lay the problem - it looks like Uvinum had mapped Catena Malbec to the wrong product in GWD's inventory.

Great Wines Direct has been extremely helpful in picking up the wine and requesting a refund from Uvinum on my behalf.

But in all this time, still not a peep from Uvinum themselves... I'm just hoping they follow through and process the requested refund.

So 5 Stars for Great Wines Direct, and still 1 Star for Uvinum.

Refund received. In the end, Uvinum customer support was very helpful and apologetic.

poor customer service..

poor customer service... I intended to order 6 bottles of Prosecco but ordered a single by mistake, they charged £16.95 for delivery of 1 bottle without question! When I contacted them with the intention of ordering the outstanding bottles I was told as it was my own fault there was nothing more they could do in a rude and unprofessional manner.... even a small concession from the next order would have been a little sweeter but he was happier to close my account

Great customer experience

I ordered a bottle of my favorite Spanish wine for Valentin's Day.

It arrived last week but the bottles was damaged by the courier. When I contacted their Customer Service not only they were very kind and professional, but they also managed to send me another bottle which arrived just in time for the special occasion.

This is the clear example of an issue turned into a good customer experience.
