All of a sudden it is in the UK being delivered on the 6th. How can you manage this.

I came back to drinks&co recently after a break due to both costs and service, they have been re-branded recently and l had hoped that things may have picked up.
I have an outstanding order, a large one for me, but l cannot get any tracking detail from them, even at the third time of asking. It is unlikely that l will bother with them again, but don't let my experiences cloud your judgement. I will return to Uvinium for service and price, accountability is miles better in my view having dealt with both companies.
Can l suggest that you judge for yourselves?

The wine was ordered with Uvinum/Drinks&co on 19-Jul-19 and received in July.
Multiple bottles had two different types of anti-theft collar attached.
Uvinum offered me 2 complementary bottles as compensation on 1-Aug-19. That offer was accepted by me and shipping was shown on the Uvinum system.
Without explanation, that accepted written offer was secretly withdrawn and the shipping data was suddenly and unilaterally deleted.
Many other offers were made with the final offer €10, a small fraction of the return shipping cost of £36.12. I rejected this offer.
Uvinum asked me to deal direct and abdicated their responsibilities. The first contact e-mail provided by Uvinum for me to use was invalid.
I decided in October that the only way forward was to return the bottles as the shipment was defective.
I had disposed of the packaging back in August when I accepted the offer. Garrafeira Nacional agreed to send me new packaging.
The packaging arrived but was too small for the bottles.......

Failed first order, great service on second order...
UPDATE- After the bad experience I had, (details below), I repurchased from this company but used a different shop on their website.
I paid a little bit more but price was still excellent.
The service I received for this second order was first class. Packaging was great and the order arrived fast.
Hence I have moved the star rating up from 1 to 4. Credit where due, I did get my refund for the first failed order and I'm very happy with my second order.
First experience of using...
My order was due to take up to 14 working days to arrive, excluding weekends. Seemed like a long time from Portugal/Spain to the UK but I didn't mind as my order had exceeded the spend needed for a free delivery.
That time went, still no order arrived. I checked where it was via the tracking number given and to my astonishment, according to the courier, it had been damaged whilst in transit a week before my order was due to arrive to me. The courier status page explained that they contacted the seller and were still waiting for a response a week later. Unsurprisingly the seller never contacted me either to explain or offer any solution.
As soon as I saw the status of my order on the courier tracking page, I emailed Drinks&Co using the email address they sent me my order confirmation on. A day later I receive an update from my email address provider saying that they were temporarily not receiving emails. I checked on their website but could not find another email address. I could only see a phone number. I would rather have a written audit trail due to the cost of the order.
So I was left with no choice but to raise this with PayPal who were very helpful. It's a lot of money to spend to be treated in this way with zero contact from the seller. It's a real shame as I would have loved to have a new order sent instead of a refund. But how can I realistically deal with a seller who behaves like this, especially with quite a lot of money involved?
Update- I received emails after writing this review from Drinks & Co. To give them credit, they did try to resolve the issue. In the end, they were seemingly unable to and refunded me on the last day before PayPal intervene. I never received any of my damaged order but did receive a full refund.

Misleading adverts & fake offers
Website and email campaigns offer discounts that are not really there. Free shipping over £135 - add that value to basket then get told that it exceeds shipping weight....waste of time
