I used Driving Miss Daisy in Lydney for my father last year, which worked out extremely well. I recently booked them for a second time to take me from the Forest of Dean to visit my Dad in his Huddersfield Care Home, and back home again. It was a long day, but the drive each way was relaxed and enjoyable (Martin being an excellent conversationalist). I had enough time with my Dad to make the visit precious and worthwhile. The Driving Miss Daisy service is much more than being driven in a taxi. It’s driving with companion support. It’s much appreciated. Thank you Martin.

Driving Miss Daisy North Bristol. Louise is the ultimate professional and much more than a driver. She helped my mum 3 times each week for nearly 5 years. Louise always arrived on time, collected mum and drove safely to her respite singing all the way. I really appreciated her kindness, advice and support. Highly recommended!

I cannot thank Driving Miss Daisy Gravesend (Christine and Barrie) enough for the wonderful care they showed my mum. She’s 81, fiercely independent, and very precious to me, so I was nervous about arranging a wheelchair taxi for her when I couldn’t take her to a last-minute eye appointment.

From the very first phone call, Christine instantly put me at ease — she was kind, calm, and reassuring. On the day, they arrived promptly, collected Mum, and gave her the most positive experience. Since then, she hasn’t stopped talking about how lovely they were and how much she enjoyed their company.

It’s clear that Christine and Barrie genuinely love what they do, and that warmth shines through in the way they treat people. For me, it was such a relief knowing Mum was in safe, caring hands — for her, it was a real joy.

They are, without a doubt, a godsend. Thank you both for making Mum so happy and for giving me such peace of mind.

We have booked Driving Miss Daisy (West Milton Keynes), with Joseph twice now, to help our family when we couldn’t get Mum back from
Felixstowe to Leighton Buzzard, on the very rare occasion we cannot There are not many people outside of our family we would trust, but Joseph is like an ‘Earth Angel’ to us, when it comes to getting Mum back safely, with kindness, professionalism, reliability, and so humble and friendly. Thank you Joseph, once again for your invaluable help with our very special Mum, with quite a long journey.

Great service, had to call them today as my mothers scooter had run out of battery. They could not get there immediately but gave a time but they managed to get there 20 minutes before they intial promised time. The chap driving was helpful and friendly.

I have just use this Guildford company four times over the past weekend on every occasion they were punctual, polite, and With a “nothing is too much trouble “ attitude. I am of the belief that you could ask them pretty much anything, so long as it’s been time factored into the very precise schedule; – which slightly scared me ahead of time , But it’s actually what makes this company is so amazing. They really DO care, and with a laugh on route with Niki I didn’t want the journeys to end.
A bit more expensive?:-Yes :-you give the money they will give you time and care ;-It’s worth every penny and there are no pockets in a shroud!!

We used this company to take my 97 yr old mother-in-law and brother-in-law to and from our son’s registry office wedding in London recently, all the way from Wallingford in Oxfordshire.
They were absolutely fantastic. The driver, Terence, could not have been more professional or caring.
My mother-in-law had been very nervous about the whole journey and event, and thanks to Terence, and the company’s professionalism, is now looking forward to the prospect of being able to attend her other grandson’s wedding next spring !

What a brilliant service. When an ambulance didn't turn up and my friend had to get to another nursing home by a specific time Laraine turned up 30 minutes after being called and got my friend there half and hour early. She is a most pleasant and helpful person. Would certainly recommend

We booked this taxi on two occasions once to take our Mum to visit Dad in hospital and also sadly to transport her to our Dad’s funeral.
The service was excellent so caring & dignified. The carer was friendly, cheerful & so attentive.

I used the Guildford Branch of Driving Miss Daisy to take my disabled mum over to see my dad at Epsom hospital. The service was absolutely amazing and I cannot praise them enough. My mum was driven from door to door (even doing her transfers) and received wonderful care. Nothing was too much trouble. At a very sad time their empathy and compassion was truly humbling. So a big thank you from myself and the rest of our family for enabling mum to go over and spend time with dad. Needless to say we highly recommend using them.

Mum (aged 89) needed someone to take her for a small op for Carpal Tunnel. We asked Driving Miss Daisy if they could accommodate and Diane at the Gravesend branch was an absolute star. She reassured mum throughout, so that mum felt as confident as she could be. We cannot recommend Diane enough and would not hesitate to recommend or engage her services again.

I had lovely encounter with Luke such a wonderful man he took me to the eye hospital today and I was in a bad way due to an eye problem had a really good time talking to him and it was good to be able to keep my mind off my problem

Tried to book a taxi from a local firm but were fully booked and they recommended Simon of Driving Miss Daisy. Booked with him to take us and pick us up from friends house. Arrived on time and was very friendly. Would definitely use him again and have recommended him to others

I have a power wheelchair and in 6 years living In Romsey I have never been able to find a company which has been able to take my wheelchair.i have always had to have a manual wheelchair in which I lost my independence until I found driving miss daisy and
Simon he was brilliant he enabled me to maintain my independents and he was able too put me completely at ease and I felt that could trust in him totally in all he was a very nice man and I would recommend to not Only those who have use to use a wheelchair but anyone who has difficulty walking

When my daughter's hospital appointment came through, we panicked as to how we were going to get there. Thankfully we were on Facebook at the right time to see a post promoting this service.

I emailed explaining our situation and Simon responded promptly in a caring, assuring manner that instantly made us feel we had found the right person.
Simon arrived on time with a smile on his face and settled us into the vehicle. He was attentive from start to finish and made us feel safe and calm.
Afterwards Simon was there to pick us up within minutes of notifying him we were ready and took us home.

What was an incredibly emotional appointment was made a positive experience by Simon who put us at ease, made us smile and laugh. It was like being driven by a best friend/family member.
