During my recovery the nurses checked in on me every day, changed my garments, came to my hotel to help me shower and were available whenever I needed them.

I had my surgery with Dr Sedat on the 4th of November, and I’m now just over 3 months post-op and I can honestly say this was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I was initially afraid to go to Turkey because of horror stories I'd heard, but my experience with Dr. Sedat Tatar was quite the opposite. He is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and kind. From the first consultation, he took the time to answer every question I had and addressed any concerns promptly throughout the entire process. He prescribed medications quickly whenever needed and was always available to provide reassurance. His expertise and professionalism made me feel safe and confident, especially as this was my first surgery. I had lipo 360, BBL, and RF skin tightening. I also want to mention his coordinator Pinar, who was extremely kind and transparent with any issue or questions I had.

Dr. Tatar's nursing team were wonderful at the hotel. They checked my oxygen levels, temperature, and blood pressure twice a day, and they even came to help me shower and assist with anything I needed while recovering. Their care was attentive, professional, and genuinely compassionate, which made the recovery process so much easier. One thing to keep in mind: if you decide to extend your massage sessions beyond what's included in your package, the cost per additional massage from his team is quite high. I'd suggest factoring this into your budget ahead of time if you anticipate wanting extra sessions. I did consider hiring an outside massage therapist to reduce costs but decided against it. I felt more comfortable having Dr. Tatar's team maintain full oversight of my recovery to avoid any potential infection or safety risks.

The Liv Hospital Vadistanbul where I had my surgery was exceptional. The facilities were modern, clean, and well-equipped, which gave me complete confidence in the care I was receiving. Everything ran smoothly from admission to discharge.

The hotel arranged for my recovery was very accommodating to post-surgery patients. It was clear they were experienced in hosting people during their healing process, which made resting and recovering much more comfortable.

I hired a private nurse apart from Dr. Sedat's team to be with me a couple hours a day for my own peace of mind, as this was my first time having surgery and I felt like I needed extra reassurance. However, if anyone has had surgery before and knows what to expect, this extra step is probably not needed because Dr. Tatar's team provided excellent care.

I am about 4 weeks post op and will update this review as time goes on, but so far everything is going smoothly.

I am sharing this review to provide clear, factual information for others researching breast lift and implant surgery. Everything here reflects my personal experience, supported by the operative report (epikriz) prepared by Dr Sedat Tatar, eight months of written communication with his clinic, an independent medical evaluation, and the operative report from my revision surgery in Australia. The Australian health system classified my revision as medically necessary due to implant displacement and asymmetry. My intention is not to express anger, but to offer transparent and documented information.

In August 2024, I underwent a breast lift with implants performed by Dr Sedat Tatar. The epikriz describes a superior-pedicle vertical (lollipop) lift with dual-plane implants. It listed vertical skin excision but did not document internal sutures, capsulorrhaphy, inframammary fold reconstruction, pocket balancing, or adjustments for natural anatomical differences. Although my external scars healed in a T-pattern, the internal technique recorded in the epikriz reflected a vertical lift rather than a full structural T-lift.

From day one after surgery, I noticed differences between the two breasts, including fold height, nipple level, and upper-pole volume. These differences became more noticeable over the following months. Before surgery, I had what I understood to be Grade II–III ptosis. During my later revision assessment, my Australian surgeon explained that this degree of sagging typically requires stronger structural support than a vertical lift alone.

Over eight months I shared photos and raised concerns with the clinic. In the written replies, my result was described as normal, and I was offered a USD 1,500 soft-tissue removal without internal repair. The responses included comments such as: “I don’t see too much of a problem with the cleavage,” “The décolletage looks completely normal,” “If the patient wants…,” “There is no need to change the implant (unless the patient wants to increase the size),” and “This is not a revision - this would be a second surgery.” From my perspective, these replies made the situation feel more cosmetic than structural.

The proposed fix I was offered consisted only of soft-tissue removal on one side. Soft-tissue removal on its own does not address internal pocket position or implant displacement, based on what was later explained to me during my revision assessment.

During my evaluation in Australia, my surgeon documented implant displacement, reduced lower-pole support, and pocket-positioning concerns. Based on these findings, the Australian health system classified the revision as medically necessary. During the revision surgery (October 2025), the surgeon performed a full T-lift, reconstructed the implant pockets, added internal support sutures, and elevated the fold. After this, my breasts appeared symmetrical, supported, and stable.

Although I raised concerns early and provided photos, I did not receive an offer for a warranty revision. After I expressed disagreement with the proposed surgical approach and shared an independent surgical opinion, communication from the clinic eventually stopped. This process involved significant stress, uncertainty, reduced self-confidence, and additional financial impact, including USD 7,540 for the first surgery and AUD 23,000 for the revision.

I understand that complications can occur with any surgery. However, in my experience, the combination of early asymmetry, a lift technique that did not match my degree of ptosis, the lack of documented internal support steps, the proposed revision that did not address internal concerns, and the communication challenges led me to seek revision elsewhere. My final result only became symmetrical after undergoing full internal reconstruction during revision surgery in Australia.

I hope that sharing my documented and factual experience helps others make informed decisions.

After a successful breast lift with implant back in October 2024 I decided that I wanted to do 360 Lipo with fat grafting and rhinoplasty. I had a consultation in London with Dr Sedat and explained to him that I wanted a natural look and that’s exactly what he did.

I flew out in June 2025 for a week, was collected from the airport and taken straight to Liv Hospital for my tests and then taken back to my hotel, the following morning I had my surgery.

The nurses were wonderful (I miss you guys) looking back at this experience with nostalgia, I’m so happy with everything, aftercare, check ins especially my nose I get soo many compliments. This has truly been a lovely experience despite the recovery. Ever so slightly gutted that presently I haven’t got anything that needs improving so I can do this all over again! Perhaps one day I’ll be back…

I had surgery 6 months ago and I’m extremely happy with the whole experience. If your worried about infections and being botched please look elsewhere! I had a very unpleasant experience from Dr Sedat and his team that left me in ICU for 3 weeks with sepsis shock and almost lost my life! I know have to do deal with permanent scarring, dents and a failed bbl. I complained of fever and pain and low blood pressure during my stay but it wasn’t seen as serious, there was no further testing such as a blood test or checking vital signs. upon returning back to my country which is a 20 hour flight I was hospitalised under critical care the next day with severe infections and multiple drainage surgeries. I’ve voiced my concerns to Dr Sedat and his team but unfortunately no one wants to take responsibility and they’ve continuesly denied that it’s their fault. Its important to look after international patients and do proper examinations before discharging them and listening to them when they cry for help. I’m disappointed that the team was unable to help me or take consideration for what I’ve been through no should have to suffer like I did. It’s been 3 months and i still have not recovered. Please be careful if you care about your health.

No one checked my vital signs no blood pressure checks, temperature checks or saturation level checks during the hotel. This is very important post surgery when recovery. I’m a nurse and I can confirm this! No one gave me an official report confirming about organisms in the hospital. sepsis is not a organism it’s a condition your body goes through because of infection. Me and the person who stayed with me during the stay saw that nurses were not using sterile scissors when opening incision sites during the lymphatic drainage massage it’ was simply a pair of scissors taken out of a back pack. Nothing should be touching your skin unless it’s in sterile package. I saw Dr on the 21st of August and I was fine but I voiced that I had fevers but when I returned back to the hotel later that day I messaged the team and told them that Ive noticed a lump in my groin that was painful. And that lump was the first signs to sepsis it’s exactly what was operated on when I returned to Australia I have evidence of this in messages with the team and my hospital summary. I left turkey on 23rd of August so your incorrect when you say I was away for a while. I was experiencing fevers, low blood pressure and pain throughout my recovery in your chosen hotel too but nothing was done about it!
