I had been experiencing a lot of ear pressure in 1 ear and continued sinus congestion. Prior to my next flight, I reached out to Dr Sema Koc on the weekend who quickly replied and got me an appointment for Monday prior to my evening flight.

The office was very professional and an assistant helped translate everything to English for me(I'm from the US). The doctor did a very thorough exam, sharing live video of the inner ears and nostrils, explaining the findings. The doctor cleaned the ears and then had a pressure test done. She provided 3 prescriptions and a detailed medical report including future recommended surgery that I should consider.

I would highly recommend this office for anyone who is experiencing any type of ears, nose, or throat, issues. If I wasn't traveling to other countries and could stay in Antalya, I would seriously consider doing the recommended surgery with this office.

I’m happy with my rhino-septoplasty performed by Dr. Sema. Everything was done carefully and professionally. I didn’t want any major external changes, and the doctor fully respected that - the result looks natural and balanced.

I had a septum correction and rhinoplasty with Dr. Sema in August. The first three days after the surgery were very difficult, and I was discharged the same night. In my opinion, it would have been much better to stay at least one or two nights in the hospital for proper monitoring and recovery. Unfortunately, I felt that financial considerations were prioritized over patient comfort.

Breathing has improved after the surgery, but cosmetically there is no significant difference. Even people who know me well could not notice much change.

The communication and support before the surgery were excellent, but after the surgery things became more difficult, especially as the assistant resigned. This had a negative impact on my overall experience.

I honestly regret changing my original plan. I had initially booked my surgery in Istanbul, but I was convinced to switch. In the end, I paid nearly double the cost compared to Istanbul, and also lost additional money on rescheduling flights and hotels for a result that was not as beneficial as I expected.

I had a deviated nose, a slight hump, and a somewhat drooping tip. Overall, my nose was relatively large in proportion to my face. I also suffered from nasal congestion, especially in my left nostril. My main reason for surgery was aesthetic, but as it turned out, I also needed a turbinoplasty to improve my airflow.

I received a very quick response to my enquiry email about the surgery, and an online consultation was arranged remarkably fast. Patient coordinator Cevat Aşkar was extremely friendly, helpful, and most importantly, always available.

From the very first minute I met Dr. Sema Koç, she gave me an excellent impression. She is truly professional yet easy-going. The examination was carried out carefully, and the surgery went smoothly. A lot of work was done on my nose to achieve the best possible result.

I am now two months post-op, and the swelling has reduced noticeably. I am very happy with the results—it’s top notch. My breathing is better, and my nose now perfectly suits my facial proportions.

If I may offer some constructive feedback, the only thing that bothered me a little as a healthcare professional was the lack of detailed post-operative guidance. I would have appreciated some kind of written document with instructions on how to behave, how to sleep, what to eat, whether I could lift my baby, etc. Also, the medicine instructions were given to me while I was still under the influence of anesthesia. Of course, whenever I was unsure about something, I messaged Cevat and always received a quick and helpful response. No complaints about that. But aftercare—especially after rhinoplasty—is extremely important and can affect the final outcome. I believe that written instructions would also benefit the clinic, as they would ensure that all essential information is provided. Not all patients necessarily know what to ask, especially about things they should avoid after surgery. Still, in the bigger picture, this was a minor shortcoming.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the clinic, and I couldn’t have chosen a better doctor than Dr. Sema <3

For 15 years I have searched for an ENT surgeon to correct my botched Rhinoplasty. I consulted 3 ENT specialists in the UK none of whom I felt confident could carry out the procedure.

The consultation before the surgery was excellent, it incorporated all the details of rhinoplasty surgery that I had already researched.
The coordinator Jevat made all the arrangements for my travel and surgery, he was with me at all times during the pre and post op surgery.
Blood tests, ECG and chest Xray were performed the day before and a detailed consultation with Prof. Dr Sema Koc.
Every aspect of my reconstruction was discussed. I felt completely confident about the procedure.

After struggling with continuous tiredness/aching for 3 years and visiting multiple specialists via NHS in the UK with not even a diagnosis, I booked a consultation (£100) to see Dr Sema while I was in Antalya having dental work. Due to prearranged plans of Dr Sema, my appointment was at 10pm on the day I arrived (9pm). From this first consultation,which involved camera inserted in nose and throat which is viewed on a large TV, my hopes of regaining a normal life was lifted. Dr Sema was extremely professional, knowledgeable and explained about the 5 surgical procedures that were required. These were straightening nose bone, removing cartilage from nose, removing excess skin from nose,widening my throat and reducing the base of my tongue. It took over a year to have the Surgery due to my personal finances. (I wish I'd met Dr Sema before I had paid for my dental work )
After arriving back in Antalya, the following day I was met at the hospital by Cevat, Dr Sema's assistant who speaks excellent English and throughout the whole trip answered any queries I had. All the routine checks were swiftly carried out for pre operation.
The next day, the operations were performed successfully by Dr Sema. I was then returned to my private hospital room (similar to Travelodge) where I was constantly monitored by a host of nurses and other staff. I stayed overnight and was discharged the following day.
I was in constant dialogue with Cevat for the next week before returning to Dr Sema's office to have the stints removed from my nose.
From start to finish the whole experience has been made easy and pleasurable by Dr Sema and all her staff.
It's now 6 weeks post operation and I feel like a new person. I cannot thank Dr Sema enough for giving me a normal life back and I encourage anyone with UARS or sleep apnea to at least have the consultation, you won't be disappointed.

During the consultation, she listened carefully to my concerns — I had a thick, bulbous tip, a prominent dorsal hump, and functional breathing issues due to a deviated septum and swollen turbinates. I was also experiencing snoring, possibly due to an elongated uvula, which she noted during the assessment.

She explained her plan to address both aesthetic and functional concerns, including:
• Removing the dorsal hump
• Refining the bulbous tip
• Placing a columellar strut graft for support and projection
• Performing a septoplasty and radiofrequency turbinate reduction for better breathing

She also explained she would use ultrasonic piezo technology to reshape the nasal bones precisely, with minimal trauma.

Surgery & Medical Care

The surgery was performed at a clean, modern hospital with full pre-op testing (blood work, ECG, etc.). The medical team was thorough and professional, and I was under general anesthesia.

Post-op, I experienced typical swelling, nasal stuffiness, and some bruising under the eyes — all expected. Pain was minimal, and medication was provided as needed.

Dr. Sema had placed internal silicone stents (not tampons), which are breathable and meant to stay in for two months to support my healing. She also applied external tape after splint removal, which I was advised to leave untouched for a week.

Recovery & Aftercare

Recovery has been smooth so far. I was advised to:
• Use saline spray 5 times a day
• Avoid any pressure or strain on the nose
• Take internal stents out daily to clean and reinsert (once swelling settled)
• Follow a low-sodium diet, sleep with head elevated, and avoid heat/steam

My nose is still swollen — especially the tip and columella (which is expected with thick skin and grafts) — but I can already see huge improvement in the profile. I’m breathing better, and the structure feels stable.

I’ve been told final results will take 6–12 months, but I already feel confident in Dr. Sema’s work.
