As a parent of a seven year old that loves playing the drums, I look for a drum teacher that's able to design a lesson that's interesting and useful, develop a positive and meaningful teacher student relationship that my son wants to be a part of and create a musical environment that my son considers fun and enjoyable.

Paulo is able to do all of that!

He has worked with my son on different occasions and, every time the lesson finished, my son only had positive things to say about Paulo and his approach to teaching and drumming. Through my son's comments, I understood that Paulo is everything I look for in a drum teacher. I look forward to sending my son to drum with Paulo again, and I know my son will be happy to return.

Paulo is an extremely passionate and inspiring tutor. I've had the pleasure of being taught by him for around 2 years and I've learnt a huge amount about technique and where the gaps are in my ability. I was always self taught prior to having lessons with Paulo. He bought me back to basics to strengthen and uncover improvements I would have never addressed otherwise. I have really felt this in my confidence and learning speed.

Paulo will always take the extra time to listen to your ideas and he always creates a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

The newly refurbished studio is absolutely awesome! enough to inspire anyone to get playing. It creates a great atmosphere where during lessons you play opposite one another which makes so much difference for visualising what you're learning.

Couldn't think of a better drumming instructor than Paulo!! His enthusiasm and energy is so infectious and he gives a 100% in every lesson. His carefully considered sessions means you get a tailor made experience every time - always happy to answer Q's and go the extra mile. Very thankful...

Starting as a total beginner, I have been taking drum lessons since a year now with Paulo and I am very happy with the experience and my progress. Paulo is very patient and excellent at showing you ways to improve your technique. The lessons are very diversified and individually tailored. His enthusiasm for drumming and music in general is contagious :)

I have recently started drumming lessons with Paulo and I cannot recommend him enough. He is a superb teacher with an infectious passion for drumming. His lessons are fun, engaging and practical.
