Don't buy an insurance from them
I highly advise against buying insurance from this schematic insurance company.
They don't cover anything, they designed their policies to avoid patients coverage, despite paying high premium!
Well, despite that they claim that they cover specialists and more, but they don't, I am talking specifically about what the personnel replied.
The don't cover normal specialists visits, they have designed their policy to avoid a normal vists.
Just schematic company.please avoid buying from this company, this is my advise!

3 month old daughter got tension in muscles
My 3 month old daughter got tension on the right side and the osteopath treatment helped loosen the muscles. DS-Sundhed agreed to cover 3 treatments which were sufficient for us.

This is an awful company
This is an awful company. They seem to cover almost nothing and have rejected nearly every claim i have made.
They don’t cover any skin complaints. I had a skin infection on my elbow that whilst i was waiting for them to respond (took 4 weeks) it developed into bursitis and i spent 2 weeks in hospital on a drip nearly losing my arm in the process
They wouldn’t cover getting seen privately for an eye infection that i needed a second opinion for. I have now lost my right eye because of the initial mis-diagnosis that could have been prevented by the second opinion. My wife was refused a claim for her hip after she fell off her bike and injured it, because she was pregnant.
My son has an auditory processing issue that requires a special test from an ear nose and throat doctor, they have also refused this!!

I am sorry to hear about your experience with Dansk Sundhedssikring.
In our terms and conditions there are a long range of events which is covered by us, but there are also things that we cannot cover as it is not within the range of our coverage.
Some things are not covered because it is a highly specialized medical specialty, other times it is not covered due to it being chronic or recurrent, and if it is acute then one should contact the emergency room. This is all stated in our terms and conditions.
Our ambition is to provide a health insurance that will help you with a lot of different issues, but there will be things not we do not cover, or we recommend being treated through the public health system.
I can see we have helped you with some cases, and if there is anything regarding these please do not hesitate to contact us.

Always had positive experiences. The phone waiting time is a bit long. You could add a contact form on the website to make changes and requests to open claims. But to open anew claim online, the process and response time is very straightforward.

The worst EVER
the worst EVER! I got a referral to a private gynecologist who wrote me a referral for a Hysterectomy. Since they won´t pay the hospital he works at, I have to go through the same examination over and over again, instead of finally getting treatment. They let me run around with pain and bleedings since weeks. zero stars, if possible!

A disappointment, every single time I have to talk to DSS
They will do ANYTHING to give you as much as possible, I literally had to (wait in line on the call for 40 mins) only to beg them to add 3 more chiro sessions because my treatment was not done and I was still in pain and cannt sleep. They will find non existing excuses to prevent you from taking what is rightfully yours: aka treatment (that you pay for, right?). Overall my experience has becoming poorer and poorer over time (joined as customer 4 years ago, I think its time to find something better).

Does not meet expectations
I do not expect my referrals from my primary care doctor to be scrutinized by your medical team- feels more like a screening process to avoid coverage rather than provide extra coverage vs public sector😔.
I am a healthy woman in my mid 50’s and I want to keep healthy and avoid complications with my health and I do not feel that your coverage is aligned with my needs sadly😔.
My one specialist need is orthotics to ensure healthy feet after excellent bilateral foot surgery performed in France and this is not covered by your policy- again very disappointing.
I am paying extra for my daughters to have access to faster, better health care but they are interrogated about their therapist’s diagnosis - again, in what seems like a scam to avoid coverage rather than provide it😳.
I have to ask myself what am I getting for my money?!
