Is a Zero Star possible ?

Is a Zero Star possible? This problem is continuing for 2.5 months. Mobile Phone contract came to an end, and I asked for a renewal for the cheapest plan. There was an offer for Euro 9,99. BUT!!! Instead of changing my contract to a new plan, they kept my old plan added many upgrades to my old plan, and the monthly fee comes to Euro 78 per month. That is not the worst, they ordered me a new plan, gave me the Euro 9,99 monthly fee. BUT they put a surcharge of Euro 39,99 fee on my new plan. The worst of it all is that I can not cancel my old plan anymore, because they put it in a 2 years contract. And I can not transfer my old number to the new plan. The Worst!!!! And they refuse to fixed it. !!!! I told them there is no logic for me to have 2 plans. I didn't order 2 plans.
They said that is my problem!!!

Horrible

Horrible. I am sitting for 5 hours without internet. Their customer service is useless in providing information on when it will be available. I lost ar least half day work.

poor internet connection always…

poor internet connection always breakdown. You are watching some Live transmission and then you have to wait for connection to be restored and you miss the live program. No Customer service and on top of that expensive.

Getting forwarded multiple times. Company of fools

Getting forwarded multiple times with no resolvement on my issues with the DSL-installation order. Now they want 60 euros for overbooking fees for a router that should've been free for waiting for the DSL installation. I wanted to recommend the company to my friends, but not anymore. Absolute foolish customer service.

Please run away just do not even look here

I was about to write a comment here but I saw so many other people have similiar experiences here and I gave up after. But I reconsider and thought that I should write it:

I don't know if someone is searching for company to have internet and looking here; please run away and don't look your behind. Because of this amateur company I do not have internet for 2 months. They have no officer in any department. They pay fee to be provider but in fact they have only some few customer services guys who hangs up phone to your face if you speak english. Even when you speak german, they send one another and one another again for the issue to be not solved. It is just a amateur tactics what they do.

I wanted to have internet at house but first, they told me to wait it 3 weeks. After waiting of 3 weeks, technician guy did not come so I asked about it and they told me "okay we will make appointment in a week". After 10 minutes saying that, they send another email that they will send me technician guy will come 1 month later. By the way this technician guy will just do stupid "point to point test(PTP)" from internet feeder box of building. This job takes like 5 minutes when you have tools.

Hence, please just run away. Do not deal with these amateurs.

The worst internet provider in Germany!

We ordered internet and it never arrived - instead we got charged for two contracts we never signed for.

The costumer service is terrible - the people there have no idea about the products/their job generally.

Don't sign up there - they just want to steal your money!

1038 eur 1&1 is trying to steal from me

I have a very bad experience with this company.
I have made a new phone number contract with them and also ordered a new phone in August.
The first phone was lost somewhere with GLS. After I informed them that the phone was not delivered to me, afterwards 1 & 1 sent me another phone with Hermes.
With Hermes I received the phone (I signed and showed my passport to the delivery service).
However, 1 & 1 now claim that I have also received the first phone from GLS. When I check GLS website it says that the order was not delivered to me and thus, the sender returned. I claimed this to 1 & 1 and demanded to show me pick up signature and passport copy. They showed me this evidence with Hermes but they could not show me this evidence with GLS.
I have sent a lot of emails to 1 & 1 that I do not have the 1st phone and that GLS has this phone, however, 1 & 1's unprofessional Customer Supporters kept telling me that I have to contact GLS myself. Today I finally received a reply from GLS that 1 & 1 should contact them directly (not me). This shows how messy and unprofessional this 1 & 1 is.
I work myself at the Customer Support and I know why they are doing this as they do not want to make deep investigation themselves (CS members are usually busy and they do not have much time to dive deeper into each case). I blame their management that members keep giving hard time to their customers.

And today they took 1038 Eur from my account. Without issue even being closed, they charged me for something I do not have. This company is a scam.
I will do my best to take case further with the lawyer, because I do not want to let this mismanagement case to hurt other people.

Shame on you 1 & 1.

unreliable DSL

unreliable DSL. as with anything german, they dont take criticism, so complaining to customer service either via email or telephonically gets you nothing.

1) dont believe the speed advertised on the deal/package
-first check what is available in your area. it is public info
2) dont take their 'upgrade' deals, especially if they say it comes with no-charge contract change. if it does, you will find generous charges for 'equipment upgrades'
3) expect regular but unexpected downtime on your DSL
4) expect that your billing cycle will change as and when they see fit, whether it suits you or not. (most german companies do this, changing their 'agb')
5) dont expect friendly or helpful customer service. rudeness is a way of life here, even if you speak the language.
6) those regular 'customer satisfaction' surveys that you are sent via email, mean nothing. mentioning your dissatisfaction in them also brings absolutely nothing.
7) if you dont speak german, rather go with O2, however, dont expect better service or better courtesy, it is still germany.

Like a joke

When I was about to buy 1und1 WiFi and sim card, almost everyone in 1und1 spoke English.

Now when I am a costumer, non of them speaks English, after they realise that I am a costumer.

They tell me to write an email to a international service mail, I did that and I still haven't got an answer.

Terrible customer service

Your phone customer service is literally unacceptable. I don't speak German, yet I'm a customer and I have every right to be helped because I pay for your poor services. Many of your rude employees prove to know how to speak English, yet they refuse to help in English. Some of them even hang up on me. Absolutely unacceptable in 2020 in a big city like Hamburg

Horrible Copmany and Customer Service

Horrible Copmany and Customer Service, we have been waiting for the past 6 weeks for them to fix internet issues, still we have no solution. Absolute lack of proactivity and customer service, we have to call and wait on hold, nobody calls us - 4 appointments when we had to wait home for 6 hours, still noone came . Shame, shame...

Worst service support and regulations I've ever experienced in my life

As many people had already referred or stated there are always problems either with internet or support. I had cancelled contract many times but it was always ending up with : "i didn't filled the form" when i did , " you didn't write an email" when i did (in english), they've answered in english "you didn't write it in german" and later instead of terminating the contract in 3 month. They had sent me a pdf with termination of it in 1 year and 2 month. This provider is simply a joke.
People on the phone are not providing you with any help because: "They do not provide support in English".
When ask someone to speak in German they are not willing to help but rather to sit off their 8-12 euros per hour. I do not blame them, i am rather up to inform all of the followers about policies of the company and their objectives.
When I checked the rankings of the companies here, was not surprised and finally understood that nothing wrong with my perceptions.

Horrible service!

Horrible service!

I set up an automatic payment and apparently it fails and then they charge me with extra fees for not paying. When I try to call customer support, they are very unhelpful. I understand German quite well, but don't speak it so well. But they don't speak any English at all and are very unwilling to help even by speaking German slowly and make an effort to help me.

I am then referred to an e-mail. Haven't heard from then in a week...
