Canceling connection is very difficult
Canceling connection is very difficult. You have only one option to cancel the connection that’s you need to call customer care and wait. They don’t pick up your call. In the middle of the month if you try to call them they will say call us end of the month. At the end of the month they don’t pick up the call. Simpler they are saying you will be transferred to cancellation dept but call will not connect though if you wait for more than 30 mins. You can not cancel your connection through any other way. Not recommended for new subscribers…

Absolutely the worst internet service I have ever experienced.
Dubai is marketed as a world-class city, yet this internet service feels worse than what you’d expect in a developing country.
Constant disconnections, unusable speeds, and zero reliability. What you pay for on paper and what you actually receive are two completely different things.
Customer service is a complete joke — scripted replies, no ownership, no real fixes. You spend hours chasing support only to be told to reboot the router or “wait 24–48 hours,” over and over again. Nothing gets resolved.
This feels like a monopoly run purely to extract money, not to provide a service. Prices are outrageously high for shockingly poor quality. No competition, no accountability, no incentive to improve — just billing customers month after month for a service that barely works.
If Dubai truly wants to be taken seriously as a global tech and business hub, this level of internet infrastructure is embarrassing. Avoid if you have any other option.

I have lots of issues since I asked to change the location they delayed the service for more than 5 days!!mean while the sales team asked me to cancel the contract And sign a new contract in order to get the internet service back..so I had to sign a new contract, in top of that I realised the sales team scammed me with offer doesn't exist ,I signed the contract regarding to this offer but the bill is 30% higher than the offer which I signed for,and in top of that when I found out, du refused to remove the extra services which I signed to get it for free!!
Worst company ever
Worst company ever, if you are a tourist, never buy with them. I bought today online a esim and even they the payment went through I couldn't get the esim. It was just loading and loading a QR code. I managed to do a screenshot where clearly i had the order number because obviously the payment went through. And i went to their store in Dubai Mall, there first they say to come back in 2 hours because they are full. But I didn't listen to that stupid worker, and went to another one and he checked the system and said that the esim system is down and I should get a refund in 7 days. And if I want I can buy with him a new sim card... It is just a wasteof time and money to deal with this company. Avoid them as much as you can

constant interruption of service, App only works 50% of the time, Customer care line is useless. Du relies heavily on A.I to assist customers, but the A.I is very, very poor. The only Human I ever spoke to from DU was when I cancelled my contract, that was after 3 days of no service.

Bad customer service (bill payment issue)
6th February 2025, Bill payments, I paid using one of the Du payment machines at a mall. My last bill was 208.95 AED. I paid cash 500 AED, and apparently it does not return cash (it's not declared anywhere), so the rest of the money went into my Du account, which i am closing as i am leaving the country, after contacting the customer service agent they assured me the refount will be either by transfear the amount to another account or refound that will take 7 to 10 days to my bank account.
I have passed all the information through an email, and i was following up with them till today, and it's still not transferred or refunded. They only keep replying that it will take 10 days to solve it and someone will contact you, but none of the options are happening.

Very bad experience with du call center. An internet service was activated without my consent, even though I never approved the offer and refused the router installation.
I spent 3 days calling customer service, being transferred from one agent to another, with no one reading or understanding my complaint. I was even asked to pay cancellation fees for a mistake made by du’s staff.
The only positive part was the Dubai Festival City branch, where the staff was professional and helpful and actually tried to solve the issue.
Unfortunately, due to the call center’s poor service and lack of accountability, I will avoid dealing with du again

Very poor customer service experience with du. The support team is not helpful and does not provide proper solutions to issues. Problems remain unresolved even after multiple complaints. Data services are also unreliable, with frequent issues and no clear assistance from customer care. Overall, very disappointing service and not worth the cost.

Du is dishonest. I called to cancel my service and was clearly told it was cancelled with no issues. After that, they still charged me again.
I’ve been calling almost every day trying to fix this and no one helps or responds properly. Instead, they start talking about penalties and threats instead of actually resolving the problem.
I can’t afford extra charges and this has caused real stress. Very bad experience and zero customer care.100% cheating they’re making money. I cancelled my all internet services and i to request to my family and friends don’t take any services of du side.all are cheaters i am very disappointed no body helps. Customer service useless people.

What a terrible company!! Like oh my god how trash the service is!!! More than 1 month and I’m trying to cancel and get a new service!! They hire the worst Indian people on the planet! Don’t even know how to speak or help you!!! They should be sued for all the inconvenience
Very long wait time
Very long wait time. Customer service was unhelpful and repeatedly asked me to “adjust my voice” even though I was already speaking loudly. They never considered that the issue might be on their side. I was also asked the same basic questions multiple times. Very poor customer service.

I’ve generally had a disappointing experience with du communication, as the service and support have not met expectations. However, I would like to acknowledge and appreciate Fazal Khan at the Dubai Marina Mall branch. He was extremely helpful, professional, and went above and beyond to assist me.
Dissatisfaction with the customer service
Dear DU Customer Care Team,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I recently received concerning the cancellation of an eSIM postpaid that was ordered mistakenly and never used.
Despite explaining clearly that the eSIM was not utilized in any way, I was advised to make a payment of 262AED in order to process its cancellation. This request is unreasonable and does not reflect fair customer service practices, especially considering that no service was consumed and the order was made in error.

⭐ 1 star – Extremely disappointing experience with advisor Du Ikram at Nakheel Mall
I would like to report the completely inappropriate behavior of the advisor Du Ikram at the Nakheel Mall branch. For the second time, she let another customer go ahead of me, ignored me entirely, and when I pointed out her attitude, she replied with a dismissive and disrespectful: “So what!”
There was absolutely no sense of customer service, no accountability, and no respect shown at any moment. Her behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially in a role meant to support and assist customers.
Based on this experience, I do not recommend this place at all, as customers are clearly not treated with the respect they deserve.
I sincerely hope this issue will be taken seriously so that no other customer has to go through such treatment.
Du Home internet service
In any company or organisation there will be some mistakes done but at the same time corrective action must be taken. Mine is such a case, where due to some employee I was offered a better internet connection with good download and upload speed by paying a promotional fee without any charges. I agreed to the same as we have had a good experience with Du as a service provider. Once the new connection was done, the previous connection was not cancelled by Du giving reasons that the period of the connection is still not over. As such, I have ended up paying for 2 home internet connections with nobody addressing the issue. Moreover, since there are 2 internet connections each of the connections was affecting the other and my family has suffered a lot. We had to elsewhere to do work and the children's studies were affected.
But, today I spoke to Ms Heba from Dubai customer service and explained my ordeal. She did what ever she had to do and upgraded my previous connection with 800mbps speed, with Amazon prime, english channels with installation of a recordable set top box scheduled for Friday 12.12.2025 with 20% discount for 1 year from the start date and agreed to cancel the recent home internet plan without any charges within 24 hours.
I have received sms to that effect from Du also. I have confirmed the details from another Du customer support staff Ms Maitha, who checked the Du system and confirmed the same.
So, thanks to Ms Heba and it is notable that there are staff who can get things sorted out.

Du promptly connected my previous account on 11.12.2025 @ 10:15 hrs as it was active in Dubai system and not in the house. Subsequently, the other recent internet account which active in the house was cancelled.
On further follow up with Du Customer support upon my request, attendant Ms Eman explained that she would request Du Finance team to get in touch with me for the refund of 3 months of charges that I had paid for the account that was not active in my house by was active in Dubai system & also Aed 150 that I had paid for the recent home internet connection(now cancelled without charges).
Mr.Mohd Aftab from Du Finance team called assuring me that as per the billing cycle the money will be calculated and refunded on the 7th of January 2026.
