I purchased a custom glass shower door from Dulles Glass for $1,500 expecting a straightforward installation and professional workmanship. Despite providing all measurements exactly as requested, the door does not function properly: it cannot swing open without striking the tile on the wall where the hinges are mounted. The frame fits the opening perfectly, so this is clearly a design/install issue related to hinge placement or hardware clearance, not a sizing error.

When I called Dulles Glass to resolve the problem, their response was disappointing. They suggested mounting the door on the opposite wall so it would swing the other direction. I did follow the suggestion and mounted the door on the left side, resulting in the exact same issue and now, extra holes in my tile. The only viable option offered by Dulles Glass is to order a new door for $800 and dispose of the old one. At that point I'm $2,300 into a shower door. I didn't "customize" the door. When ordering the door, a handle must be selected. I selected one of the handles offered. Instead of offering a repair, adjustment, or reasonable solution, they told me I could buy a completely new door with the towel bar moved an inch so it wouldn’t interfere with the swing. When I asked why the door wasn’t made that way originally, the representative’s reply boiled down to “you already bought it” and they don’t accept returns. In short: no accountability, no attempt to fix a likely manufacturing mistake, and a push to pay more to correct an error that should never have happened.

For anyone considering Dulles Glass, be cautious. The product I received is functionally defective despite following their measurement requirements, and the company’s customer service failed to take responsibility or offer a fair remedy. If you choose to use Dulles Glass, get written guarantees about fit and function, insist on an on-site verification of hinge clearance before fabrication, and clarify their return and fix policies in writing. As it stands, I cannot recommend them based on my experience — overpriced, poorly supported, and unwilling to stand behind their work.

Ordered a glass end table top replacement. Received in excellent condition, correct specs, was very reasonably priced. Absolutely no issues. Hope I don't have to replace another one, but I would use them again.

Dulles Glass delivered excellent service from start to finish. After installation, they promptly addressed a follow-up request to adjust our shower doors. Their field technicians fixed the problem efficiently and provided useful care advice.

I experienced a kink in the website. I wasn’t too happy with how long it took to respond to my CS request, but eventually I got a refund. I wanted a credit towards my initial purchase, but the company decided to just clear the air after I gave them a negative review. My refund was also on the grounds that I would update my first review. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR ORDER double check before you check out. This company has an all sales are final policy. The glass I got was very well packaged and flawless. Highly recommend the company. The website and CS are questionable.

I needed a replacement pane of glass for a broken china hutch. I was nervous as hell about ordering online -- what if it broke during shipping, what if it didn't fit -- but I'm SO glad I picked dulles glass. Not only was it very affordable, but most importantly the glass came with the perfect dimensions and fit in my hutch. It was packed very well and shipping was even free. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful glass, great price points, astonishing customer service. I am a maker of fine, handcrafted tables (see PeppercornStudio) and I've switched my glass purchasing from (also excellent) local fabricators and from Glassdirect to Dulles. Half-inch glass and bevelling are standouts

My first order came broken by the the delivery service. Dulles Glass was very responsive to my concern and provided excellent customer service by reviewing my claim and responded by replacing the item as a rush order. The replacement item came quickly and in perfect condition. Wonderful experience with this company!

⭐ 1 Star – A Disgraceful Hiring Experience

I was hired by Dulles Glass and Mirror as their Director of Business Development—a role I was genuinely excited about. I took this position in good faith, leaving behind other opportunities, only to experience one of the most disorganized and unprofessional onboarding processes of my career.

I was sent to their Manassas, VA location for training, where I quickly mastered their proprietary software and was eager to dive into my responsibilities. But after just two days, everything came to a screeching halt. I spent hours sitting idle, receiving zero guidance, zero structure, and no training related to the role they hired me for.

I repeatedly advocated for support, requesting either proper training or the chance to begin contributing from the Baltimore location—where I was ultimately supposed to be based. My requests were met with vague reassurances and no real action. Eventually, the CFO told me everything was on track and that I’d now begin my work from Baltimore.

I returned the next day, on time and ready to work, only to be blindsided: my position had been terminated without any prior warning, explanation, or accountability. No one had the professionalism to reach out ahead of time or communicate the decision directly.

This experience reflects a serious lack of leadership, integrity, and planning at Dulles Glass and Mirror. It’s one thing to pivot internally, but to mishandle a new hire’s onboarding this catastrophically—after recruiting them for a senior role—is unacceptable and speaks volumes about the company’s culture.

To anyone considering working here: proceed with caution. What’s presented during the hiring process may not be what you get.

From first site visit to installation, Dulles Glass delivered first class service. Dulles Glass also followed up on a timely manner on a request to adjust shower doors not closing propertly. Their field tech team solved the issue and provided helpful maintenance tips.

Super quick delivery and exactly as ordered! This was an order for a single small piece of tempered glass. Other glass shops clearly didn't want to bother with this - quotes of several weeks and well over $100.

Dulles Glass was happy to take my order for half the price of the others, and delivered it in 2 days from order.

Mistakes at every phase of this project: Design, Ordering, scheduling, and installation. Be prepared to handhold these guys every step of the way and double check every thing they propose. Incorrect CAD drawing (numbers didn't add up), Disorganized customer support ("We'll call you back" but no call-back, multiple times), missed installation appointments with no warning (I had to take extra time off work to accomodate), missing parts in the final installation (sliding glass was directly in contact with stone and would have easily shattered). Took about 2 months start to finish. Everyone was very nice, but a lot of mistakes were made, indicating poor quality control throughout the overall process.
Don't use these guys unless you're willing to do a lot of babysitting.

Dulles Glass installed frameless glass shower doors in the master bathroom. Everything went smoothly to include ordering the doors, scheduling the measurement appointment, final review and approval, and installation. The glass shower doors are beautiful, modern, and low maintenance. I highly recommend Dulles Glass.
