Serious about learning to trade? Then you should seriously consider Duomo Initiative

I’ve been meaning to write a review of Duomo Initiative for a while now, but never got around doing so and I wanted to make it very comprehensive so that people get a good idea as to what to expect. So this is going to be a long one, which I hope you’ll find useful.

In the interest of complete transparency, before we begin, I’m a full course member and I’ve paid for the course out of my own pocket. I’ve got nothing to gain from posting this. That being said, I’m a great supporter of what they are doing, but I will try to be as impartial and objective as I can.

WHO ARE THEY?
They are an education company that offers courses aimed towards financial education, specifically designed to provide training and skills needed to trade the financial markets. At the moment they are offering a course that is aimed towards Forex market and I believe there are other courses planed for the future covering various finance and trading related subjects.

WHAT’S THEIR FOREX TRADING COURSE LIKE?
In short, excellent. The Learn to Trade the Duomo Method course is extremely well put together and quality of the material is excellent. There is around 15 hours of professionally shot high quality videos which is complemented by module notes and relevant YouTube videos form Duomo YouTube channel embedded within each of the module. There are 16 sections that covers all aspects of trading the Duomo Method and including basic things such as what is forex market to more advance aspects of trading such as building and optimise trading systems. I have yet to come across a course this extensive on the subject of trading. Although the video material is ‘only’ around 15 hours, they are packed with information and require lots of ‘screen time’, study and practice before you fully understand the concept and able to apply it in the markets.

The Duomo Initiative makes it very clear that they are teaching trading as a skill, hence the course is called “Learn to Trade the Duomo Method” rather than system. Also they ask you to put 100% commitment to learning and practising the methods taught. They absolutely do not to promise to make you a millionaire in 3 months, which sadly is what most others seems to be doing at the moment. What Duomo Initiative do however, promise is to teach all the skills you need so you can go out and find our own success in trading, which in my humble opinion something that they do really well.

The support I received from the Team Duomo has been fantastic so far, can’t fault them there. They also have a private course member’s only forum (free for course members) where learners can post their questions. It’s becoming a great learning resource with more and more experienced learners taking active role in helping new members. Also the instructor, Nicholas Puri, actively look at questions, charts etc. posted by the course members on the forum and provide detailed feedback.

In addition to all this, there is the opportunity for course members to have free one-to-one mentoring sessions with Nicholas Puri to cover any areas where they struggle with. Not sure if this is going to be an ongoing thing but this is available at the moment.

All this is complemented by huge library of videos on their YouTube channel (over 200 videos at the moment) which covers all aspects of trading as well as weekly Forex Analysis looking at charts every Sunday getting you prepared for the trading week ahead. Which of course is free for everyone to access.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
The Duomo Initiative offers life time access to the online course and there are number of options available. There is the one off payment option which cost £697, three monthly instalment option which cost £250 per instalment and 6 monthly instalment option costing £140 per instalment. I paid in monthly instalments and I got full access all the course material as soon as I paid my first instalment. Which was great.

CONCLUSION
All in all I think Duomo Initiative is a great company and breath of fresh air in a market full of conmen trying to sell you systems and magic indicators that will make you a millionaire in 3 months, which we all know is too good to be true. We will all be as wealthy as Warren Buffet in few years if this was true, won’t we?

I have researched a lot before I chose to go with Duomo Initiative I’m glad I did chose them. They are the only company I’ve come across so far who teaches trading as a skill. (I’m sure there are others, I’ve not come across them yet). Obviously as any other skill, trading require time, effort and dedication to master, just like any other professional skill. Take a moment to think about it, you are entering the market and expecting to win in a ‘zero-sum game’ against some of the brightest and best trained finance professionals in the world, do you think one system or indicator is going to help you win against them? Statistics speaks for themselves, over 95% of the traders lose money.

If becoming a successful trader so important to you, that you are willing to put the hours in, work hard and stay dedicated until you have the skill and the experience to complete with the professionals, then you should seriously consider Duomo Initiative.
