What a bad experience with these…
What a bad experience with these arrogant people . I end up losing £14 for nothing . they had their item back and i paid for delivery and return . the discounted items they display are not correct and from the manufacture there is a problem with sizes and that is why this dv8 dodgy people discount the item .
DO NOT TRUST THESE COWBOYS .
THAT IS WHY DV8 DO NOT HAVE GOOGLE BUSINESS PROFILE SO CUSTOMERS CANNOT LEAVE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE .

We do clearly state on our website that we do not provide either Free Outward Shipping, or Free Postal Returns (we do however, accept free In-Store Returns).

So disappointed with the service recd in the Dundee store, time waited to buy a pair of trainers, it was not busy, I am still in town and contemplating returning the purchase, ruined the buying experience

The DV8 site was brought to my attention via a Google search. They sell products from a few brands that I like. I have come across the site a few times but never placed an order until April 2024. I was hesitant to purchase based on the lack of recent reviews and mixed experiences of existing reviews. However, my experience shopping here was fantastic. My order was placed on a weekend, dispatched on a Monday and delivered on Tuesday. The item was as pictured (colour, fit, length etc) and so no need to return. I would recommend that others give this site a chance. To the DV8 team - thanks for your efficient customer service.

You had ordered a pair of trainers from us.
When carrying out a quality inspection before dispatching them we had noticed an issue with the trainers.
We had attempted to contact you by email and also by phone at the time, to try to offer you a solution to this but we received no reply.
We then provided you with a full refund and a further email with an explanation.
Whilst we are very sorry that there was an issue with the trainers (a manufacturing defect beyond our control), we hope that you can see that we were vigilant in identifying this, and attentive in trying to reach out to you a number of times to resolve.
We are sorry that you are disappointed, but we hope that you can appreciate that this was somewhat beyond our control.

Great value for money and super fast delivery
Wasn’t sure whether to order after seeing trustpilot reviews (I hadn’t heard of the brand prior to a Google search) but £29.99 for the vans I wanted was too tempting. They arrived next day and they’re perfect - genuinely couldn’t fault the service and great value for money! Highly recommended!

Money taken- no delivery
I placed an order and had a confirmation email. The next day they emailed saying that order had been cancelled as payment was not confirmed. The money has been taken from my account but I don’t have the order! No contact details for the company. Avoid!

Your Order, placed July 6th, was cancelled as the Payment did not pass the 3D Secure Anti-Fraud Screening on our Website.
The reason being that it took an unusually high number of attempts to correctly enter the correct card details during checkout. There were also two further significant issues, which we cannot disclose in this reply.

Terrible Service
Went in for a pair of vans checkered slipons the first time and I was left waiting for 10 minutes until they came back down and told me there's only 1 size nine as the other nine was sold with a size eight, second time I go in I asked for a pair of vans black and green in size nine left waiting for a while until they came down and said ohh can't find them, absolutely disgusting no coordination very careless staff I won't be shopping in their again especially for a pair of shoes.

Disgusting
This is in regards to the Dv8 in Monaghan town. My friend went in today to buy a dress for a wedding. Was told she wasn’t allowed to bring shoes in changing room. Went out of changing rooms with dress on to try on the heels, and staff member approached her. She asked my friend did she need help with sizes, and then pointed to her stomach area saying “it just doesn’t do much for you in that area does it”. My friend was very upset and left the store with no purchase. The staff member was tall and blonde. Personally I am disgusted with this encounter, as I have worked in retail myself and this is just not acceptable. So many young girls have body dysmorphia and struggle with body confidence, hence why I’m leaving this review. Be kind, it’s not that hard, especially if you’re in retail. Otherwise leave your job.

Terrible company - Reporting to BBB
Terrible company and I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau about this place. I ordered shoes which charged me for alleged 2 day shipping. I did not receive the shoes in 2 days. I didn’t even receive a confirmation email thanking me for placing the order initially. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that they were busy and that the shoes would be shipped out, still expecting 2 a day shipment, another 2 data past and I didn’t receive the shoe. I emailed again and customer service says that they mailed the shoes and that they emailed me. I never received an email. I let them know that I never received a receipt email for the purchase, not had I received a shipment confirmation email. I also asked about the sizing of the shoes before they sent the shoes to me and I told them to change the size based on what they told me because the website did not have a size chart, long story short, they regular, usps mailed me the shoes. They literally came in the shoebox. No packaging, just a taped up shoe box. They also came in the size that I ordered prior to speaking with them. When I reached to let them know that I want to exchange them, similar to other customers, they stop responding. The timeframe has not expired to exchange; however, the website claims that you need an email from them in order to exchange, so like the other customer, I’m afraid to send the shoe back because I may not get my money back. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau though. As this shady business needs to be addressed. I’m tired of scammers and shady salespeople. Enough is enough

Regarding the Castlebar store
Regarding the Castlebar store, I would really advice that the staff there at present should be replaced as quickly as possible , bother females are just absolutely the rudest 2 staff I have met in a very long time , my daughter and her friend went in shopping and they were followed around the shop untill they left , bar when they went into the changing which I went with them , they were whispering and literally on their backs whilst shopping ! I felt very intimidated and insulted that we were been watched as of we wer doing something wrong ! My daughter bought a dress and the red haired one followed her up to the checkout stood behind her untill she paid , then she walked right behind her untill she left the shop ! We will definitely not be returning to this store and it is very easy to understand why there is never any customers in there !! Disgraceful staff members
