DeWalt 18V Multi Line Laser Bare Unit   This DCLE34031 green diode laser from DeWalt is a new compact triple 360 degree line laser that moves the battery to underneath the unit. Lasers are an essential tool for a large range of different trade sectors including window fitting, suspended ceiling installation, carpentry & joinery, tiling, plumbing & electrical and much more. The kit includes a multi-purpose bracket that gives you the ability to mount the unit on a tripod (both 1/4" and 5/8" threading) or attach it to a DeWalt style quick-clamp. Alternatively, you can use the laser without the bracket to take advantage of the keyhole shaped screw hook or powerful magnet. The laser using a green diode takes advantage of how the human eye reacts to light conditions, and allows you to see the laser line much more visibly than a red one, even at a distance. To protect the more sensitive internal components of the laser during transportation, the pendulum lock prevents the components swinging around. Due to the compact design of the laser, it is only compatible with 18 Volt XR battery packs up to 5.0Ah, and not the FlexVolt batteries. However you should still get an average of 11 hours of runtime with a 2.0Ah battery pack (sold separately).
