Very good bit of kit, I use this for my flood light and laser level. Works well. This would of got 5 stars for quality but it fell apart when I was erecting it, I managed to fix it with ease though.

Reasonable price for a light weight, easy to use tri-pod. would have liked a 3 section leg to take height to above 2 meters but could not find one.

I've got loads of Dewalt stuff and it's all great, this stand however is a piece of junk. I managed to break it in my front room within a minute never mind a site environment. If you don't believe me read Amazon reviews before you buy. Come on Dewalt what are you thinking of putting your name on rubbish like this.

As a professional tradesman I have many Dewalt mains and battery tools. They have always been good quality and served me well. This tripod however is the cheapest, poorest quality piece of kit I have ever had the misfortune to buy. The original tripod they sold lasted me 14 years and this new version will not see the year out. The head wobbles about not matter how tight you lock it down, the catches on the legs slip, and the elevation part is already cutting into the yellow plastic. I have seen better quality plastic on childrens toys. How can you trust a piece of equipment that is for precision measuring of levels if the head rocks more than a ship in a stormy sea? If I could send it back I would. I can not believe that Dewalt can put their badging to this product. I also have the pole and the larger laser which I am very pleased with. I have decided to by a Velbon video tripod which does everything this does but better without any movement n any of the parts.
