About Dyson
Dyson was founded on the idea of solving problems that others ignore; vacuum cleaners that clog and lose suction, hand dryers that are energy hungry and don't work, and hair technology that relies on extreme temperatures and cause heat damage.
Since it was established in the UK in 1993, Dyson has grown from one man and one idea to a global technology company with an ever-growing team of engineers and scientists at its core.
Today, Dyson machines are sold in over 65 countries. From cordless vacuum cleaners to air purifiers to hair dryers ; a whole new generation of technology has made its way into the hands of Dyson owners around the world.

Should of stuck with Henry!!!
The hoovers are very bad for the price tag. I've had two a portable and a plug in and both terrible. Really disappointed with them both and wasted a lot of money.

Dyson to the rescue
Paid €450 for a Dyson V10 and expected to get a quality product. But no, just after the warranty period ends, the motor fails. This machine was treated properly, never abused, and still has a battery in good condition. And the motor fails. Customer service was a joke, they didn't even have a replacement motor available, and wouldn't be getting one in. Suggested I buy another and wanted to give me names of retailers. Seriously. I wouldn't touch a Dyson again. Shoddy merchandise and incompetent customer service. Stay well clear of Dyson.
EDIT: I can confirm that Dyson have supplied a new motor, and its working perfectly! Thank you Dyson! 😄👍

Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service! Spoke to customer service about our machine not working properly. Was told a part would be sent out, 4 weeks later when we still hadn’t received anything called to follow up, and was told part not available. Was told they would arrange courier to collect our machine for return and it would be replaced with a new one. No courier. Rang again, was told our case was escalated and someone would call within 24-hours, no call. Rang again asked for a supervisor and was told someone would ring back within 2 hours, no call!! This has been going on for 5 weeks now and no assistance whatsoever except being told that it has been escalated and to expect a call within 24 hours. Still no call!! Absolutely appalling customer service! And no resolution, not sure what to do with our faulty machine now.

I asked for a courier to come and collect the product. Waiting all day, instead we received a box to return the item in. Very frustrating

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Dyson
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Dyson. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are quick to take your money but very slow to assist with any issues that arise. They provide misleading promises and delivery dates. When the product does not arrive on the agreed date, they inform you that there is an issue with their system and that you need to wait. The customer service is horrible. This has been a very bad experience for me, both as a first-time customer and for any potential future interactions. I do not recommend this company to anyone at all. Stay away from them

Battery complaint
The battery on our hoover wasn’t working and Dyson gave us a brand new battery for free.

No customer service
No customer service. Absolutely appalling that Dyson does not supply parts to electrical outlets, and that it falsely represents itself as having a customer service phone number in Ireland.
The phone is never answered.
Emails are a waste of time as that is discontinued.
It is astounding that this company is able to sell its expensive products in Ireland when it does not provide a repair service or a warranty in reality.
Total misrepresentation and fraud.

Awful awful awful
As others have written, and I also have in the past…the customer service is absolutely appalling. Waiting over a month for a part to be back in stock. These expensive machines break often and easily and then repairs are near to impossible. Customer service options are awful and take ages and you still end up getting nowhere. Do not buy. I never ever will again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Bought a Dyson DR44 Multi Floor Stick
Vacuum Cleaner a few years ago. It was never that good on the carpets but I persevered. I would continually go back to reliable Henry when I got fed up trying to hoover out the girls bedroom. As you can imagine the head of the vacuum was continually stuck with hair. I had to stop repeatedly to unclog it. Back to Henry again to finish the hoovering.
This hoover was only taken out sporadically over the years. In 2023 the hoover was giving a lot of problems it would hoover for a second and then switch off, come back on and switch off again. It was thrown aside and I kept meaning to call the company to see what the problem was but didn’t until today 24/7/2024.
I rang the company and after the lady got the serial number etc she informed me that they no longer made this one and she couldn’t do anything for me. Considering the amount of money paid out for this vacuum and how little it was used over the years I consider this to be a blooming disgrace.
This company has got a reputation which I consider to be totally false all they want is your money and forget about you when things go wrong. People think when they buy a Dyson that it is a reputable company but that’s definitely not the case. You are buying a name that’s all, the products are completely useless for the job required. I will never buy from this company again ever.

Dyson is the best brand in the world,
The only thing let me down a bit is the filter cover on the hair dryer, it should be magnetic like in the air wrap
I highly recommend dyson.
