Bought the 2 bike e-go lite package. Absolutely everything was spot on, from answering pre-purchase enquiries quickly, to ordering and sorting delivery and to aftersales services when a query needed resolving. The bikes themselves are great - just what we wanted.
I can't speak more highly of the company and the products.

After reading the reviews on E-Go bikes I decided to take the plunge.
Ordered 2 bike package and received a confirmation email within minutes.
They kept me infomed of the progress. Delivered within 2 days!
Very prompt and courteous service (oh and the bikes are excellent).
Would highly recommend dealing with this company.

Super bike. Have been on a couple of rides and really enjoyed it. Got some appreciative looks as well. The bike is sturdy but rides like a dream. Have now put a little doggie basket at the back so my furry friend can enjoy it too.
I have been using both pedal assist and own pedal power so great for exercise.
Glen was really helpful in answering all my questions before buying and he delivered the bike to me fully assembled within a couple of days.
This is the best purchase in a long time .

I wanted an electric bike that I could fold up and put in the car and drive to a lake or forest trail. I bought the Max Plus as the fatter tyres help when the terrain gets a bit bumpy. I have taken it to France and given it a good work out and have nothing bad to say about it. It handled all but a few very steep forest trails and breezed around the 10 km trail around the lake. A big plus was that it was comfortable for me at 6'2" and my friend at 5'4". Easy to adjust to either of us. just a fight over who got it!
One thing to bear in mind - take a spare innertube with you. We got a puncture and local shops did not have the size in stock.
My husband and myself bought an E Go Max bike each.
What a fantastic purchase. We are both retired and we can now do lots of cycling. When we come to an incline we just ramp up the pedal assist and we are flying. When I start to get tired of pedalling and my husband is way off in front, I just put it in cruise control and I can easily catch him up.
These bikes have given us a new lease of life and the freedom of leaving the car behind and exploring.
We have even booked a lodge in the New Forest next year and we will be taking our bikes and exploring.
Yesterday friends visited and took our bikes out and they are now deciding which ones to buy

The bike was delivered promptly and was easy to unfold. It has been great riding it and will really make getting to work via public transport a possibility without getting too sweaty. I am very happy with this bike so far.

My wife and I recently purchased two E-Go Lite bikes.
The bikes themselves are fantastic, well designed with good build quality, feeling sure footed on the road without feeling heavy to steer or move around. Folding the bike away really is very straightforward.
We encountered a few minor issues during assembly but as others have mentioned Glenn dealt with these quickly and efficiently, making the purchase stress free.
This is a return to cycling after many years for us - we couldn't be happier both with our choice of company or decision to opt for the "Lite" bikes.
Highly recommended.

Made it up the ‘Monster hill’ up Portland from Weymouth on our e-go Max’s, pedal assist 5, kept peddling & we made it & we are average fitness, in our 60’s. Score- Monster hill 0 - E-GO-1

Great bike for my local trails for a senior casual rider! Only done about 15 miles so far on the standard battery,
Excellent service and advice from Glenn Russell.
Only disappointment so far (reason for only 4 stars) is the brakes in PAS modes where the rear brake is effective but gives a pumping action on the ball of my foot, and the front brake is smooth but not powerful. Can a local bike mechanic help for the Sheffield area?

Excellent customer service.
Glen answered the questions I had promptly and the bike arrived within 24h.
Love the bike, sturdy and absolute fun to ride.
Front fork could do with suspension, bit hard when you hit a bump at speed.
But that’s only a minor point.
Folds away in my camper van easily.

Brief: I tried out a few electric bikes as I needed something lightweight to carry up stairs and small enough to fit into a hatchback. I'm not someone who buys a new gadget every year so I needed to buy the correct bike, first time. I took plenty of time to shop around and the E-Go is an absolute joy to ride!
Practicalities: The E-Go bike is notably lighter than other bikes in the price range (14.5kg vs closest competitor at 17kg, most around 20kg) which is a major plus, and it folds down really small. The bottom of the seat post can function as a stand. The bike was delivered with a perfectly-selected toolkit.
Power: I originally eyed the Mi Rider, but I'm glad I didn't fall for the hype - having tried them out together the E-Go was much zipper on its own steam and although the Mi Rider had a nice "extra boost" facility, it certainly wasn't worth the £500 extra! There are five levels of boost on the E-Go and I haven't needed to go higher than the third level to get uphill comfortably, even though I am not very fit.
Battery: The battery life is impressive - I am still deliberately putting it through its paces and I have not yet been able to exhaust it in one day. I don't commute but if you do, assuming an hour's ride each way, you'd probably only need to charge it every other day - time it so you charge it in the office, I say! I haven't timed the charging time precisely but you'd go from empty to full within 3-4 hours, certainly.
Looks: This bike is eye-catching for its small size and its unusual shape, although both folding and e-bikes are becoming more common. The red is much more beautiful than the pictures suggest, it just looks so shiny and sporty! I ultimately chose matte black because it's less noticeable and I live in a relatively high-theft area. I am a paranoid person though! I bought bike insurance from Barclays, which turned out to be better quality coverage than many bike-only firms (multiple bikes, public liability ins etc.).
Ride: I ride in inner London, where most road surfaces are smooth or at least servicable. I have hit pot holes a few times and the bike handles it well, although I did have to tighten the seat post a little as it dropped a small amount whilst riding - a quick adjustment and no further niggles there. This bike doesn't have suspension so you might feel pot holes a bit but for urban riding and a small form factor, I think this bike does an excellent job. The saddle is fine for my short journeys but it is definitely a men's saddle ("unisex" tends to just be men's but women are expected to put up with it) so that's a potential cheap and easy upgrade if you want. This is still a fun ride even when you switch off the PAS.
Upgrades & Extras: I opted for a rear rack, seat post lock and storage bag. The rear rack is a must for practicality's sake and despite its small size it carries a fairly large rucksack. Given the unusual size, I don't think you'd be able to buy a generic rack that would fit well, so you may as well order it alongside your bike, the price is reasonable and it is well made. The seat post lock made sense to me because the battery is in the seat post - the bike rides well without battery but I don't know how comfortable it would be to get home without a saddle! The storage bag is well-made and roomy. There isn't much padding in it but it will certainly keep a clean car safe from a muddy bike. If you want more padding, I think you could take an offcut from an old duvet and it would fit nicely around the bike inside, there is space.
Service: Could not be happier! Glenn took the time to patiently answer my questions and even reached out to me proactively to check everything was well! I originally couldn't fit the rack myself and he managed to sort everything out. I have no issues with the bike now but if anything should crop up, I am confident he would help me get back on the road quickly.

I cannot remember if I wrote a review but I think it’s good to write one after having the bike for a while. I have had the e-go max+ for 7 months and it is still a fantastic bike. The battery lasts forever. Everything still works well. I am very very happy with the purchase. Thanks Glenn. (I’m still wondering whether to put slime in the tyres or not!!!!!!)

Bike is very good and as advertised. Thoroughly enjoy riding it. Powerful motor when needed. Manual gears well matched to bike.
Very easy to fold and unfold.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced folding e-bike.
Positive response from supplier to questions and queries.

I’d been thinking about an e-bike for a while, done a fair bit of research and then came across E-Go. The reviews were outstanding and I liked what I saw, so dived in and went for a Max+. The whole experience has been and continues to be outstanding. The bike is amazing and I’ve gone from very little exercise to thoroughly looking forward to my morning bike ride most days. The customer service is incredible too. I ordered the bike at around 4pm and it arrived by noon the next day as there were already a couple of bikes being delivered nearby and to top it off Glenn very kindly offered to fully build the bike, which was great as I was a little apprehensive about putting together the few bits that needed doing when it arrived, so I didn’t need to do anything when it arrived. You cannot beat a great product with outstanding customer service to match. I recommend the bike & company to everyone. I’m so glad I came across this bike & Co. Thank you Glenn and team!

I have had my E-go lite for a year, done about 6000k either in the Chiltern Hills or in hilly France to get the croissant. This bike has added 10 years at least to my cycling years. It does what is says on the tin and Glenn is super in support when I try my best to wreck it.
