Be weary of using EZPASS (& poor Customer Service)

What is wrong with this technology? I keep using it when I travel in Florida, and I keep getting charged by my rental car company because EZPASS simply will not recognize the transponder and charges the car rental company. I have brought this up, and even shown that their invoice to me clearly shows that the transponder was on but they simply refuse to acknowledge their poor performance and will not provide a refund.
