There are a plethora of reasons why people say they don't wear earplugs. Perhaps you've heard, or even said one of the following: ”Earplugs are not comfortable; Custom plugs cost too much; My ear gets sore over time; The music doesn't sound right; They stick way out of my ear; Too noticeable; I had some but they got dirty/grungy; I don't like throwing them away and having to buy new ones all the time; I feel goofy when other people look at me with them in; It's just not cool!” Well, EARasers are here to challenge all those reasons for not protecting your hearing!

Highly recommended for musicians

Highly recommended! These were already my favorite set of ear protection since I bought my first set in 2021, but after some excellent customer service I can only heartily recommend these to any musician or concert visitor. These protect your ears without removing unnecessary frequencies, so that you can still hear everything perfectly on stage.

Worked perfectly

Worked perfectly! I attended Sziget this year and I was able to stand in front of giant speakers without the music feeling too loud at all, while still having normal conversations with people. Like magic. Their sizing guide worked for me - I am indeed a small.

Really nice company, bought some earplugs and they work perfectly. I had an issue with my shipping and anyway they took care of that without any problem

Terrible handling of customer data, great earplugs

The earplugs are great. That said, the shop doesn't have a privacy policy at all and will happily share your full name, purchase and email address with third parties like Trustpilot and Judge.me to spam you with requests to write reviews for their products; both of which I'm pretty sure are GDPR violations. You also don't get an invoice.

Poor customer service

Earplugs are great, don’t be mistaken, they do their job very nicely. BUT. I haven’t had such a bad experience with customer service anywhere so far. I haven’t received invoice with the plugs nor via the email in February 2022. I asked for it twice. First time, no response. Second time, there was some effort, but I haven’t received the invoice with aproppriate company details so far (May 2022). I make several orders worldwide in a month and never had a problem with such a basic task as sending an invoice. I’m really disgusted.

I can't recommend them enough!

Since a long time I have wanted to put in a good word for the Earasers. I have been using them a lot for over 5 years now, and I can't recommend them enough. I also own 2 pair of molded Elacin plugs with 3 different filters, and I have tried all kind of 20-50€ plugs, so I think I am in a quite good position to compare. In the cheaper end the Earasers beat them all easily. Compared to the molded, they even have a weird advantage (besides the price tag). The filters are great, and are close to compare to the molded plugs that costs 4-5 x the price. But what makes them outstanding is the design that makes it possible to use them in a quite special way. First of all they are super comfortable, and I can have them in my ears as long as the molded plugs without any discomfort. The only difference is that during the hours they may slowly slip a bit out, so you have to push them back in here and there. But that is actually why I keep using them, and one of the things that make them so special. The way I can pull them further out or push them deeper in, means that I get a chance to actually adjust the volume/attenuation. And because the volume in the club will always change (or any surrounding you want to protect yourself against), you don't have to decide between using the plugs or not. If the volume feels in the more comfortable end, I simply leave them in, but at the tip of my ears, so they literally just take the top of the high frequencies, and when you move closer to the sound source (or the DJ or a track becomes louder) you simply push them further in.

I am therefor (as you might have understood) also a big fan of the US filter, which made me use them in the first place, and a small attenuation is something I always wished for in a pair of earplugs. Something that just take the top out of the sound system, so I can keep a good volume and experience. It is something no other plug in the affordable end ever seemed to aim for, and that always kept me away from using earplugs. I have also used the EU filter in some crappy clubs, when the volume has been in the louder/harsher end, and they also sound great and don't attenuate too much either. But I always try to avoid those clubs/sound systems anyway. Personally I have never looked for something to bring down the volume to the 100% official safe levels, because it always took away too much of my experience, but of course the EU filters are a good option where you can still adjust the attenuation in the same way as I described earlier.

Worth mentioning is that they also are practically invisible (compared to the molded and more or less all other earplugs). I actually even cut off and shorten the piece of plastic that you use to take them out, so that it just points out 4-5 mm. I don't think anyone should be embarrassed for protecting their ears and hearing, but it is also nice that it doesn't have to become any focus point at all to wear them.

As a sidenote, and something that is also very important to mention is another use, where the Earasers seem to beat all other plugs. I have a close friend who since two years suffer from extreme sound sensitivity and tinnitus after a sound/noise accident. He uses the Earasers on a daily basis, in the same way, where he can have them quite far out for most of the time, just taking the highest frequencies out, that otherwise would trigger his tinnitus. And of course pushing them in when needed.

I truly love my Earasers and I hope they will find their way to all music lovers wanting to have a safer but still great experience, and also to the people struggling with tinnitus or sound sensitivity.

Perfect

They work more than perfect. I wear them to festivals close so huge speakers and since I have them I did not hear that *peeeep* after. Also really confortable and invisible.

I am truly grateful for the outstanding…

I am truly grateful for the outstanding after-service offered by Earasers. I bought a small pair, but found I actually needed one small and one medium to fit my mid-matching ears! The help offered by Earasers was just wonderful, and I am now kitted out for many hours of happy music teaching, wonderfully protected from too much exposure to loud sound, comfortable and honestly bowled over by the care shown. Exemplary. Highly recommend. Thank you Earasers.

Careful with the import fees

The earplugs are an absolute dream and fit under my helmet perfectly. With other earplugs, I always had the issue that they would move as soon as I put my full face motorcycle helmet on.
Unfortunately, the import fees made the plugs 20 Euro more costly, making the whole purchase too expensive
