The Eargo 8 is my third Eargo and the best of them all. Great battery life, as the charge lasts the entire day and more, and you can go for days without having to plug the charger; they are invisible,... See more

Very happy with Eargo hearing aids
Very happy with the hearing aids for my moderate hearing loss. They are very comfortable - I forget that I’m wearing them. Very adjustable! I can change the volume plus the treble and bass settings on each ear’s hearing aid for the different environment options such as normal, restaurant, phone, etc. This is very advantageous for me as I can fine tune every option for my hearing needs. In the beginning, I wasn’t cleaning them as directed (shame) nor using the enclosed charger+cord. My battery life was very short - 6 hours. Eargo support was very helpful - I now dutifully clean them daily and use the correct charge connector into the wall (no power strips). Battery life is 14-16 hours now.
Eargo hearing aids have really changed…
Eargo hearing aids have really changed my social life! I can be in a crowded restaurant with several friends and hear everything clearly!
They are a game changer!
It’s very liberating to not have to strain to hear in a social setting!
I no longer need subtitles and I feel I’m more engaged because of this wonderful technology.
It’s so easy to use the phone to change the settings and volume. Totally user friendly.
I couldn’t be happier.
Happy with my purchase
I purchased Eargo 8 about a week ago. The acoustics are good, the hearing aids work very well, and the overnight charger gives me at least 18 hours of charging every time I use it. I had previously used Eargo 6, and Eargo 8 offers better acoustics, better charging, and easier switching between the four levels of support offered to each ear.
Excellent product backed by great…
Excellent product backed by great support team and a great warranty. The new 8's are a continued improvement. Had Eargo's for years.
Total Junk
I bought a pair of Eargo 7 last December. Since then I have had to replace 4 devices for various reasons ( stoped working, wouldn’t charge, wouldn’t hold a charge). Now, after replacing the 4th device, the charger is not connecting to the app to sync the new device. Of the nine months that I have had the Eargo 7s I have only been able to use them for about 6 months due to replacement delays. Now that I have owned them for 9 months I would say that they are total junk and definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend them to anyone. At this point I would be happy to return them and stop paying for them and just let Eargo keep the money already paid, but they will not accept any return after 45 days. Do yourself a favor, don’t buy these and buy something else.
Eargo 7 Issues
Upgraded to the Eargo7 and have had a number of issues. I get them fully charged and after wearing them 20 minutes I get a low battery notice. The caps on the Eargos when I changed them broke when removing from the package and there seems to be continual issues. I had the Eargos 6 and seemed much better.
I was reluctant to get a hearing aid…
I was reluctant to get a hearing aid because of the occluded sound that can occur when using a hearing aid plus the behind the ear devices can be annoying if you are wearing glasses.
EARGO will send you a 'blank' hearing aid device to see if they will fit your ear canal and are comfortable to wear.
The device was very easy to set up for my hearing needs but EARGO also has excellent online training and technical support if needed.
My most used word is no longer 'what?' which makes the family and friends happy.
A year later
I have been wearing my eargo 7s for more than a year and they work just as they did when I first got them. No issues, no problems, very discreet virtually invisible my wife tells me. Great product!
Wonderful hearing aid and excellent customer service
I bought the Eargo 8 and so glad I did, although at first I thought I might have to send them back. But after talking to customer service I decided to give them a little more time for my ears to get use to them. I’m so glad I did they are wonderful and I can hear so much better. Wonderful customer service too!

You got to try them ,there worth the price
EarGo has made my life better through their continued efforts
EarGo has improved my ability to hear, and participate in discussions. These devices were easy to tune to my specific needs and the level of improvement in my hearing is better now than it ever was with the "professional" hearing aids. The devices recharge quickly and last all through the long days I have. I have been using EarGo devices for more than 7 years and have purchased several upgrades over the years. They have done a great job in improving the technologies employed.
Never buy any Eargo product!!
Never buy any Eargo product!!! You've been warned! I bought the Eargo 7's in July of 2024. They worked well for several months and then the multitude of issues started. One hearing aid wouldn't charge, then both wouldn't charge. Then the hearing aids would show fully charged, but would only give me 10 hours. I would put the hearing aids in with 2 lights showing for charge and 8 hours later it would be down to one light. The charger somehow was taking out the charge instead of adding it. I've had 2 set of hearing aids and 3 chargers. Every single one of them have failed. Eargo will NOT refund your money outside the trial period. Return them immediately if you see this and are still within the trial period. My AirPod pros work just as well, charge perfectly and cost less than 10% of Eargo. If you don't believe me, look at the BBB site. It says what I am saying.

A Better Way to Address Hearing Loss
I had been putting off addressing my hearing loss and with my hectic schedule could not commit to an in person audiologist appointment and subsequent hearing device fitting.
I am happy I found my way to Eargo as the virtual process was seamless and effective. As well, the onboarding and post training and best practices has optimized my ability to hear much better.
Thank you

Eargo aids are so easy to use
Eargo aids are so easy to use, easy to keep clean and extremely discreet
Customer service is good too, plus lots of helpful videos on cleaning and replacing petal tips and microphone caps.
I also have the App on my phone which allows me to alter the volume on my aids, no matter where I am and no one knows what I am doing
Denied Support for Working Hearing Aid Bought on eBay
I purchased a new Eargo 7 on May 12, 2025, from an eBay seller to replace a lost unit. I’ve been using Eargo products since 2018. After a brief interaction with customer service, I was told I had warranty coverage through July.
Then suddenly I was told that because I purchased from eBay, Eargo would:
• Refuse support completely
• Deny me any upgrade options
• Ignore all follow-ups
They cited a policy dated May 13—after my purchase. The policy isn’t visible on their website, and I was offered no notice or alternative.
I’m disappointed that a company focused on health tech would treat long-standing customers this way.

My first set of hearing aids were from an audiologist which were terrible
My first set of hearing aids were from an audiologist and coast $7,000. My insurance covered $3,000 which left a $4,000 bill.
These were behind the ear which I hated. Uncomfortable, didn't allow my glasses to set properly and I had nothing but problems with them cutting out and running out of battery.
I decided to try the EARGO 7's and loved them. After 3+ years the batteries began to weaken.
At that time my insurance now covered the EARGO SE so I tried them. They worked well but I missed the extra features and the better sound quality.
I now have my second set of EARGO 7's and love them!!!!

Eargo S hearing aids and company support are excellent
I need hearing aids, audiologist told me. I shopped round for over-the-counter models and chose the Eargo SE -- after trying another brand and returning those.
Eargo 7 Hearing Aids
In 2020 I had a hearing test and was found to have some hearing loss in each ear, which was no big surprise since I experienced great difficulty hearing what people were saying whenever I was in a crowd, or when there was ambient background noise. At that time, I purchased a pair of Starkey hearing aids, which were the traditional style; they were battery operated and rested behind my ears. I found that the batteries had to be changed quite often, and it seemed that I usually received the “low battery” warning when I was somewhere it was inconvenient to be changing the batteries. I usually only wore them when my wife and I went out where we would be with others. I really did not care for them since they seemed to amplify all the noise in a room, without making it any easier for me to understand when people were speaking at a normal volume.
In 2022 a friend of mine showed me his Eargo 5 hearing aids. It was the first in-the-ear hearing aid I had ever seen, and he told me that his insurance company had covered the entire cost for them. I took the Eargo on-line hearing test and was contacted by an Eargo representative a day or two later. I was told that my hearing deficiency, as indicated by my test results, showed that my hearing would benefit from Eargo 6 hearing aids, and indeed, my insurance would cover the cost of purchase. Within a week, I had received my rechargeable Eargo 6 hearing aids and have been wearing them up until recently when I temporarily lost the charging unit. (Unfortunately, I lost the charger in a restaurant parking lot. Although I recovered the charger the next morning, an overnight rainfall had damaged the unit and it could no longer charge the hearing aids. I was very pleased with the Eargo 6’s because: 1) They were rechargeable and did not require battery replacement; 2) They fit inside the ear canal without anything behind my ears that my glasses interfered with; 3) They had 4 different settings that were easily switched to depending upon the type of setting I was in (Normal, Restaurant, Meeting, Television). I found that the Eargo 6’s helped my hearing appreciably, and they were comfortable to wear.
After contacting Eargo to see if I could purchase a replacement charger for my Eargo 6’s, I learned that would not be possible because the Eargo 6’s and their respective chargers are no longer available. I was told the Eargo 7 is the latest model to replace the Eargo 6. Having been very satisfied with the Eargo 6, and plus learning that my insurance company would pay for replacement hearing aids because it had been over 2 years since I purchased the Eargo 6’s, I placed the order for the Eargo 7. A week later, the new hearing aids arrived and I have been wearing them ever since. I’m very pleased with the new hearing aids and the follow-up I have received from Eargo representatives throughout this time. I have recommended Eargo hearing aids to other friends and family members without any reservation.
I purchased a pair of Eargo7's
I purchased a pair of Eargo7's, after using a behind the ear set about 2 year prior. The behind the ear set picked up background noise to the point I could not understand the conservation from across the table. Eargo7's did not improve the background noise problem and were not as effective in a quiet environment. Shortly after I purchased them they changed their app, I undated my app and continue to use the hearing aids. Shortly after they changed their app again and wanted personal information to get the new app. I will not provide them my information due to people hacking systems - good way to get your identity stolen. I can no longer change programs or mute during loud events without the app. Touching the cap does not work to change the programs so I can no longer wear them. i called their customer service and was told I would have to provide the personal information to get the app - they were quite emphatic and rude. Since I can no longer use the hearing aids I offer them free to anyone who wants to try them. Paid over $2500.00 for them and they are not very good and their customer service sucks. Sorriest experience I have ever experienced. I would not recommend Eargo for anyone.
