Shop pressure treated square rails for garden fencing, timber frames, repairs and custom outdoor projects. Their consistent rectangular section provides a practical horizontal support for fence boards, picket pales and other timber components. Square rails can be fixed between or across wooden posts to form the framework of a fence run. They are also useful for replacing damaged rails in existing fencing and for constructing garden screens or simple timber structures. Choose the rail length and section according to the span, fence height and weight of the boards being supported. Appears fine for purpose. I trimmed off several feet from all my lengths . It is quick to saw through with hand saw and this allowed me to avoid joining at post where there were large knots in the rail. I have projects for the spare lengths cut off by me.
