Frustrated and disappointed

We are senior citizens and were talked into getting the extended warranties without really asking us if we wanted to add $12,000 to our purchase. It was in a sealed envelope that I got the next day and read it. I was shocked. So I called everyday that week to cancel the warranties, except for the gap. Mr Bell did not return my calls. Finally the next week the salesman called and said to come down there. I did and Mr Bell gave me a paper to sign. No copy was given to
me. I will not get a refund. Unless I pay the car off on full which is impossible right now. So it looks like I'll be paying interest on warranties that I cancelled. I would be satisfied if they just deducted from my balance. I even called the finance company in Atlanta and they kept passing the buck. If they don't deduct it from my balance, I'm going to have to get a lawyer. This has made me sick. Mad at myself too for letting myself be talked into this.

-I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Palisade on…

-I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Palisade from Eastern Shore Hyundai Daphne AL on March 4, 2021
-Today is Friday, April 23, 2021, it has been 7 weeks since the purchase, and I still do not have my paperwork to get my tag.
-I have stayed in contact with this dealership regarding this matter
-Let me add that I financed a portion of the total and to this day, I have not received anything from Hyundai Finance
-This past Saturday April 17, Mr Sidney, Bell, finance manager, told my husband to make a payment right then, and gave my husband the necessary information.
- We made the payment as instructed At this point I am not sure that was wise as I have received nothing from the finance co.
-Yesterday, Thursday April 22, 2021 Mr Bell emailed some paperwork, complete with a signature, to me so I could get my tag. My printer would not print document with the signature. He had to re email a scanned copy. My printer was able to print with signature.
-I went to the tag office in Fairhope within 45 min of receiving this paper.
-the lady in the tag office began the process and after entering information and told me that the application I from Mr Bell had been VOIDED. Voided after he emailed the scanned copy it to me
-She also informed me that There will be a late fee due on this tag
- I angrily called Mr Bell and told him what happened and that I would be there in 10 min to pick up my paperwork
-I went to his office and I was mad. Raised my voice, and he told me I WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR THIS PAPERWORK TO COME IN THE MAIL.
-At this point I did have some choice words, I agree that I should not have used those words.
-Today the General Manager Barry Terranova , just now, returned my call
A) told me he was standing there and heard the whole thing
B) told me I was cussing from the beginning... and that is why paperwork was withheld.
C) I disagree with the point my cussing began. I do agree that I Shoukd not have cussed.
D) Mr Terranova backed his managers decision to not give me the paperwork.
E) I hung up, I was far to mad, upset, angry, to continue the conversation.
- I am 64 years old, and I have NEVER had anything like this happen. Not once.
Long Story short
-Do not cuss in a place of business (and I agree)
This business, Eastern Shore Hyundai is punishing me and withholding my paperwork (I do not think that holding my paperwork back is is ok.)

- The first thing I said when I entered Mr Bells office is “give me my paperwork “. No cussing had occurred. I just would not agree that this was not his fault, I asked a few times, only let the words rip when told I’d have to wait for the mail.
-We chose this particular vehicle for travel. Travel to Colorado to see our new grandchild is on hold. I do not think I can safely drive this car across State lines with no tag.
I am back to where I was on the day of purchase. Waiting on the mail to come. NO TAG IN SIGHT.
