I was a bit dubious, but it actually worked on 90% of stains. My little dog was sick and it worked on the stain left behind after cleaning conventionally, but the two urine stains on my pale velvet carpet remain stubbornly there but bit paler. Otherwise I would have awarded 5 stars.
