Very disappointed with the pasta cooker as pasta not cooked in 18 mins as instructed and takes at least 40 mins and then pasta takes very starchy and not like it tastes in a saucepan when boiled.

Used for the first time last evening - my macaroni stuck together, easy enough to separate though and will continue to experiment. Bought to take camping and the jug is a little too large to be convenient for this, nonetheless will be using at home.

Wow! this jug really cooks the pasta/veg with minimum effort. Pasta so tender and hot. No more pans boiling over on the hob and having to watch so water doesn't evaporate and burn pasta. Put pasta in add boiling water and put lid on and come back in 10mins,brilliant all cooked. Easy to wash out. Job done.
