Perhaps mistakenly I thought that the gloves were meant to enable you to work with rose bushes and briars without fear of getting pierced by the thorns, sadly that was not the case as I found out. Yes they provide scratch protection but are not any good when holding thorny plants. Sorry.

The gloves are of excellent quality and would certainly protect the arm. I am of average build but swamped my hands and would be difficult to hold a trowel or secateurs. They only come in one size. I returned them and will be promptly reimbursed - well done Easy Life..
