ROGUE TRADERS!

ROGUE TRADERS!

I placed an order on the Easylocks website on the 23rd of February 2020. I paid with PayPal and they took the money from my account on the 25th of February 2020.

To date (07/03/2020) I still haven’t received my order. I have sent 3 emails, 2 online chat requests and made over 5 phone calls and received no response from them across all platforms.

I am going to be lodging a complaint through PayPal against Easylocks and reporting them to the financial ombudsman due to there shocking business practise and even worse customer service.

Waited 2 weeks for them to tell me they didn't have it

Shame couldn't vote 0.
I paid for 1st class was told would be 3-6 working days. Waited 2 weeks before contacting them about I haven't received the item. For them to message me and tell me that they found out the supplier no longer get the cylinders in. I couldn't have to contact Easy Lock they should of contacted me.

AWFUL - NO ORDER OR RESPONSE

Very bad service.

I am still waiting for an order which was placed on 24 February 2020.

Like the other customers on this review, I paid through paypal and have not had a response to my email to the team through the website chat button, response to me email to the sales team and no one is answering the phone.

I have called several times.

Awfully bad service.

I am now writing a review to see if I can get hold of any of the Easylock team to find out where my order is.

I have ordered 8 FB mortice locks which are urgently required for a job.

Please can I have a response from Easy Locks with an update as to where my order is?

Very Disappointing

Ordered First Class on the 18th of Feb, its now the 29th and I have not received anything. I tried calling a few days ago and after 20 minutes I gave up and decided to use their "Fast live chat" I was number 1 in the Que for a further 30 minutes before giving up. It looks like Easylocks are selling locks that they cant supply, wish I had checked the reviews first. Lesson learned

Absolutely disgusted

Absolutely disgusted.
Wrong item sent. Numerous emails sent to explain company’s error and no resolution.

They have requested item is sent back but error is theirs to correct. Can’t believe they expect us to pay for the shipping.

All we want is the correct item sent to us.

Do we really have to approach small claims? Ridiculous

Awful. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Late and damaged.

Site says dispatch within 48 hours. Item was in fact dispatched after 8 days. Service is appalling. No one answers the phone. Online chat is often off. If you message, no reply. If by magic online chat is on, you'll be in a queue and by the time you're in position 1, it's 5pm and they're closed. To make matters worse, the lock barrel has deep scratches on it, at the top and the bottom. Truly awful from start to finish. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Appalling customer service!

I placed an order with this company on Wednesday 12th February at 11:17am for 2 Era patio door locks and paid for next day delivery. As the order was placed before noon I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect delivery on Thursday the 13th. Their website states that cut of times for delivery can vary but neither their website or their T&Cs give any information as to what they are.

As nothing arrived, including the confirmation e-mail, I tried to contact them by telephone. After 20 minutes waiting I got no answer just a continuous message. I sent them an email communication the same day on your contacts page but received no reply. Nothing arrived on Friday 14th so I had to postpone my work causing my client and me great inconvenience. I tried once again to call them, but after waiting on the line for someone to answer for 15 minutes I gave up. Then after 6pm, when it was too late to contact them, I received the order confirmation email. Two and a half days after they took the payment. As there is no tracking information on the the email nothing has been dispatched and as they don’t work on Saturday nothing will happen now till Monday, next day delivery meaning Tuesday?

Appalling Customer service! As a self employed carpenter reliability of delivery is key. I order a lot of materials on-line and have never had an issue like this. Will never use this company again and will spread the word that they are unreliable.

I have asked for a full refund, let’s see how long that takes them.

I ordered door plates 8 days ago for 1st class delivery and have still not received them I have texted Easylocks and sent them an email but no reply. They are ignoring all communication!

Very slow for off-the-shelf keys

12/2/2020 I ordered some window lock keys ten days ago, very simple, they just had to post them. I have had no notification of dispatch and they do not answer the telephone. I paid via PayPal so have opened up a complaint with them asking for my money back. Am looking to buy elsewhere.
15/2/2020 Update: Did buy elsewhere as I had no way of knowing if and when these would turn up. The keys were ordered on themorning of 2nd February at 10:02. I heard nothing until the afternoon of the 13th February (after posting the original review and starting a paypal issue ticket) when a dispatch notification arrived, shortly followed by an apology for the delay. They were delivered this morning, the 15th February. From order to dispatch took 9 working days (8 if I wanted to be extra kind and not count the day of dispatch)..So by the time they were delivered it was nearly two weeks. Not a very impressive service if you are in need of keys!

Do not buy from these people

Do not buy from these people. Sold me 4 hinges without any pins and refused to re-fund even though the bags were still sealed, and pictures sent. Their reason was that it was out of their terms. But at the end of the day they still sold me 4 unusable hinges. Disgusted that they would send out hinges without pins and then refuse to take them back. Terrible customer service, AVOID!!!!!

disgusting service

disgusting service
took 7 days to send a handle that I paid for first class delivery .
I rang up when it did not arrive to be told that they prioritise next day delivery and put me to the back of the queue.
So I ordered a further handle from Easylocks early Friday am for next day delivery then another from Locks on Line next day delivery.
The Locks on Line was delivered at 9.30am the next day.
I got an email at 20.06 Monday evening saying that my next day delivery from Friday was now going to be Wednesday.
The excuses just pour out.
they should be called Easybollocks.

Sham Company

Terrible company.
Key they sent wasn't close to matching the original. Hoping it was an honest error I reached out to them and provided pictures of the two keys.
Their response was that they the keys were identical as far as they were concerned and they take no responsibility for it actually working in the lock!!!!

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking ordered 3 locks on the 7th of December, got no invoice or anything, contacted via email to be told 2-5 working days plus another 3-5 because I'd requested keyed alike (no where when ordering does it state this) then told on the 16th they had been posted, tracking number doesn't work and here we are just shy of 14 days and still no locks.
Seems to always be someone else's fault and here I am £60 lighter and no locks I have a 38 week pregnant partner who isn't sleeping because we don't have new locks on the house!

Truly shocking customer service if you want my advice run the other way do not use these cowboys at all.

And an update, the reason it's so late, insufficient postage paid by easylocks! I now have to wait until Monday and pay £3.00. to get the locks which have taken 2 weeks already to arrive!

The delivery option chosen is 2-5 working days, as you have selected the standard delivery option, however we do state that any special orders can delay this slightly as they are made to order parts.

We are very sorry to hear it has not been received, and we are working to get this resolved for you. We can see this order was despatched from us on the 5th working day, and we have raised an investigation with Royal Mail to find out why this has not yet been delivered.

Firstly sorry for the delay in coming back to you, we have just re-opened today after the Christmas closure.

I just wanted to address the points you have made above. When placing an order with us you will automatically receive an email with an invoice attached, if this is not in your inbox then it may be an idea to check your junk folder, we also send one with your goods.

Keyed alike orders can sometimes take longer than standard orders depending on how busy the workshop is, it does state this in our terms.

Tracking numbers with Royal mail show only once the parcel has been signed for. I can see now that the delay was due to insufficient postage, may I ask if there is a PPI stamp on the parcel? Our postage is on account so the only way it could be insufficient is if the label has come off.

We are sorry for the issues you have experienced and look forward to your response.

Order number incase they claim it’s a false review 1100224147

Ordered a part 3 weeks ago on Royal Mail delivery. 7 days later it hadn’t arrived. Spoke to them on live chat was told lies as said it had been dispatched the day before then was offered next day delivery. Was told it would definitely arrive next day as was being sent next day delivery. Never arrived. Tracking number said it was delivered to an address on another part of the country.

Was then told it had been sent to the wrong depot and would arrive next day. 5 days later it hadn’t arrived. Called and spoke to someone in the office who was very abrupt and said they accept no responsibility but said it would be delivered tomorrow.

They now say it was delivered even when no one was home. There is no signature and it wouldn’t fit in the letterbox.

They are refusing to refund me as they say it was delivered. This company is an absolute joke and their customer services are a disgrace. I see that this a a problem they seem to have reading the reviews.

My advice would be to go no we’re near this company even if another company is more expensive it is worth paying it.

Just to clarify NOT at any stage have we refused to refund you, we have said that the item is showing with DPD as delivered and therefore it's under investigation.

You have the tracking number and a picture from DPD showing that the item was delivered and left in a safe place at your property,

This was the second time i'd used…

This was the second time i'd used Easylocks due to buying a new house and needing to changing all the locks for peace of mind........Easylocks had everything i wanted, would definitley recommend and will use again, when i need to.

WORSE SERVICE EVER AVOID!!! I have been charged £16.80 for an international shipping to NORTHERN IRELAND!!! They say it's a next day delivery in UK have waiting over a week until I have cancelled all together...NEVER AGAIN

The option on our website for Ireland does not allow next day deliveries on anything over 2kg so we are unsure where you are seeing this.

We don't add any charges onto the delivery, we only charge you the amount we get charged.

Absolutely horrible service.
I have ordered lock with 20 keys for next day delivery on Friday. On Monday I have received email saying that the order is being prepared for shipping, but on Tuesday after phone conversation with Becky I have been told that it takes two days to cut 20 keys and my next day delivery does not apply in this situation..(there was no problem to charge me for that).
On Wednesday Becky told me that my order has been shipped in the morning. On Thursday Becky told me that my order will be sent on Friday........
