Nice company to do business with BUT rates DO need to rise
With Easy Money since April 22.. yes,..Good service helpful staff nice reassuring branding etc, however my forecast of 4.03% has never risen past 3.94% & with FSCS protected accounts now nearing 5% taking into account the balance of risk, surely now is the time to increase the interest rates in line with other P2P platforms

Completely agree with other comments. 2.99 on an investment without FSCS guarantees when you can get 4.11 (and rising) on a totally secure FSCS investment. Needs looking at and fast or investors will be moving their money out quicker than you can say ‘get your act in gear’ me being one of them. We investors are not daft. Otherwise an excellent platform which I’ve been happy with but my finger is hovering over the withdraw button now.

Good service but rates looking low.
I have been investing with easyMoney since April 2019 and have been very happy with both the service received and the returns. I now have nearly £250k invested. However, the interest rates have not changed during 2022 and are now barely more than I can obtain from a building society bond which of course comes with virtually no risk. easyMoney needs to increase its interest rates or accept that I and other investors will start to sell loans.

Thank you for your review. In the near term we are keeping our rates at the current levels but we are reviewing them towards the end of the year and will decide then if we will increase. We are constantly running market comparisons and at the moment we believe our rates are at a good level.
Investors capital isn’t locked in for a fixed period, interest is paid monthly with the option to withdraw or compound and we have no fees attached to our savings account.

I have been investing with easyMoney for two years now, and I like their diligent process when identifying which loans my funds are invested into. Interest is paid reliably every month in which I either withdraw or re-invest depending on my needs.

Funds remain uninvested for significant period of time
I have invested in easymoney IFSA for more than a year and it was overall a good experience but recently (also reported by others), there is significant delay (nearly 3 weeks now) of cleared funds uninvested and not earning interest. I asked for some clarification and am told that it is in the terms & conditions, so in theory they could hold the money uninvested for any period of time until a suitable borrower is found. My funds remain over 90% not invested, so I now have to move it out again as there is no guarantee, so it may take another month or more.

We are sorry to hear that you are frustrated with the time taken to have your funds invested.
As is the nature of peer-to-peer lending we have to match funds to new loans. As such, peer-to-peer platforms like ours will fluctuate between either needing more investor funds or needing more loans and we are constantly trying to balance this for our investors.
We need to ensure that the loans we allocate to our investors match all our lending criteria and this due diligence process can take time and there may be a period where your funds are not earning interest whilst this takes place.
In your case your funds have been allocated to loans which are taking a bit longer than expected to get through this legal process.
Our all time average time to get funds invested is typically under a week and we are working on a solution whereby in your case, where funds are allocated to loans they just aren't live yet, they could be released onto other loans sooner and will update you once this in place. Rest assured we never let this process drag on too long so your funds should be invested shortly.
