Unable to add a rental car

Unable to add a rental car as the previous renter has unpaid charges. Very inconvenient and I would have thought that EasyPark would work with car rental companies to avoid this happening. AI customer care responses just state the obvious. Disappointing as this app has worked well in the past.

Update: EasyPark customer service replied to my email and have lifted the rental car restriction. At least we were able to use the app for the last couple of days of our trip.

We completely understand your frustration regarding the rental car block. When a previous renter leaves an unpaid balance on a vehicle, our system automatically restricts the license plate to prevent further accumulation of debt. While we do cooperate with many rental companies, the high turnover of vehicles means these situations can unfortunately still occur, causing an inconvenience for the next customer.

We also take your feedback regarding our AI customer care responses seriously. We are continuously working on improving our digital assistance to ensure it provides deeper solutions rather than just stating the obvious.

Pulls money for a subscription I don't recall signing up for, with no warning prior to pulling the money. Won't refund it even though I complain on day 1 and says I should 'manage my subscriptions better'. Thanks for shit. I don't even have a car, just needed to park for work at a conference once.

So I park it a place where it clearly…

So I park it a place where it clearly states that, by using the App I can pay for the parking, even though I used the App and paid for the parking I still get a fine. I contact the EasyPark team, they shy away from the responsibility of defending their customer even though it is very clear that I should not get a fine. Now they move the responsibility to me to contact and coordinate with the company that issues fine. Clearly I should not be held responsible if their backend systems don't talk to each other. I have conciously move to their competition.

We understand your expectation that a correctly started and paid parking session through the EasyPark app should prevent any parking enforcement issues. When this does not happen, we agree it is a very unfortunate experience for the customer.

However, parking enforcement is carried out by the local parking operator, and fines are issued based on their on-site verification systems. In such cases, we as EasyPark do not have the authority to cancel or override a penalty notice once it has been issued.

That said, we absolutely appreciate that this creates inconvenience and confusion. This is why we always encourage customers to contact us first, so we can help investigate the parking session and provide documentation or proof of payment that can be shared with the issuing operator.

We’re sorry to hear that this experience has led you to choose another provider, but we respect your decision. Your feedback has been shared internally as part of our ongoing efforts to improve coordination and user experience.

Went from great to shit!

Deleted my account - or at least my payment agreement and now I can't add new payment details.

Not responding on chat - just at stupid AI-bot

Not able to call - no phone service anymore :-(

Don’t count on easy park!!

Don’t count on easy park!!!

We just parked in a parking garage, where the easy park app registered our parking based on our location, which is the whole point of the app, trusting the location and that it registers the correct parking. Then we got a fine because the app had registered the wrong location, which means we actually paid for parking but in a different location because the app's GPS thought we were in a different location.

Amazing. Fantastic.

I paid for parking using Easy Park. Then I got a fine from Aimo. I had to appeal through Hojab. I received an email saying I can continue to appeal the fine but when they make a decision, they WILL NOT NOTIFY ME so I can pay. They will instead send the fine directly to a debt collector and I will then need to pay for debt collection fees in addition to the original fine. OR I can pay the fine now and therefore give my consent that I agree with the fine. WHAT THE &%€&%#"! So overall it seems as though parking was offered for the specific GPS location via Easy Park's app, even though it was not accepted. So what happened to my payment? They do not even accept refund claims. Are they going to pay my fine?

My vehicle was blocked. The app referred me to customer care. The chat did not understand the issue and referred me to customer care. No telephone number on app or website.

A company that punishes drivers for…

A company that punishes drivers for using their app correctly should have no right to exist. And they know it because they literally built a button into the app for you to push when you have a valid parking session and still get a fine. That is the clearest proof imaginable of how broken this system is. EasyPark even advises you to pay the fine. Do not do that! File the complaint directly on Q-Park’s website instead. At least then your case is set on hold, which is the bare minimum of decency. EasyPark could not even manage that.

The reason that we can't put a fine on hold is because we don't give out fines and therefor you should always report it directly to the parking operator which in your case is Q-Park.

Continuous problems camera parking

Continuous problems and eventually a fine due to the camera parking function.

Camera parking looked active in the app, but we received a fine from APCOA.

Easypark does not recognize their responsibility and claims that we should have also activated it manually (not possible in their app).

910kr. because their app failed and they don't recognize their fault. Supposed to make parking easier but instead it costs money due to their poor app.
Better pay with paper money and have a receipt. Not worth 910kr.

Avoid.

Be careful with EasyPark!

Difficult to get hold of and yet another company that likes to hide behind AI chat bots. Genuine mistake on my part and the convenient excuse of it’s all your fault comes out. Companies used to be built on reputation but now just based onripping off the punters.

Australian Easypark doesn't work in Denmark

We are visiting from Australia, where we use Easypark all the time. The app doesn't work in Denmark. We need a local phone number !! How ridiculous is this, while we use our phone freely, use data freely, use credit card freely and everything else, but can not use EasyPark App !! This needs to be fixed asap. We can not take out a Danish number, and then travel to Norway and get Norway number, and so on !

Why do I use easy park with camera…

Why do I use easy park with camera tracking. if if you forget the P sign, then you get a fine, inside a closed parking lot also requires a P sign, easy park does nothing to help with the euro park wrong fine

Unfortunately, it’s not entirely clear what the specific issue was based on your message. If you have activated automatic cameraregistration, the parking will start automatically in areas where this feature is supported. In some areas, you will still need to start the parking manually.

Regardless of the method, it is always the user’s responsibility to ensure that a parking has been registered before leaving the vehicle. If you experience any issues, we recommend contacting EasyPark’s customer service or the relevant parking operator in the area.

EasyPark is not involved in the issuance of parking fines, so unfortunately, we are unable to influence or cancel them. In such cases, you will need to contact the issuer directly.

10/10 do NOT recommend

Absolutely 10/10 do not recommend the app. I used to love it and stand by it. The app updated - no information about update came up - suddenly my car information has reverted to my old car without me knowing. I got a ticket because of that, gave them a call, was told that's my fault and they're not obliged to inform about updates and changes in app. It's a horrible way to go about a business and cheating people out of their money. Stay away if you can!

I am truly sorry to hear that you received a parking fine. It’s frustrating to feel like you’ve done everything right, only to end up with a fine anyway.

I would like to point out that the license plate you are about to start parking for is clearly displayed in the EasyPark app. If you need to change it, you can easily do so by tapping on the license plate before starting the parking session and selecting a different one. This ensures that the correct vehicle is registered.

I would like to clarify that EasyPark is not responsible for issuing parking fines. The parking operators are in charge of both issuing and processing fines. EasyPark is an app used for registering and paying for parking. We do not profit from parking fines.

I asked them to cancel my page many times ( I couldn’t it on the application ) and they haven’t done it for 4 months. I wrote 12 emails and called them 4 times!!!!!!

The App doesn't show settings.

The App doesn't show or warn where you park, license plate or card used. All of this can result in a fine. When you only use the app once a year or less, it's an issue to remember to check your settings before you use it.
