Charged me for a previous lease I had, and rejected my dispute. The person who I talked to extremely rude.

They've been continuously taking money off my bank account, without using the app. There is no activity logged, no automated systems in place (anymore), still, money is disappearing from my bank account on a weekly basis and no one is trying to help. I've contacted them multiple times. The first time they told me to contact the city for refunds , which is impossible if I didn't park anywhere but my own driveway. I've lost 89,63 euros already. All of which I can prove.

I returned from holidays abroad on the night of June 27th.
The next morning, June 28th, while I was still asleep, a camera-activated parking session was started in Oostende — 150 km from my home. My car hadn’t moved for over two weeks and was parked at my house the entire time.

When I woke up and saw the notification, I tried to stop the session, but couldn’t because it had been triggered by camera. I spent the entire day trying to reach EasyPark support by phone and email — no one ever answered. The session eventually ended on its own, but I was still charged €25.

After three weeks of repeated attempts to contact support, I still received no reply. The only person I managed to speak to was someone at the reception desk who promised to pass along my details. She was dismissive and borderline rude, despite my clear distress.

The app can be useful — as long as everything goes smoothly. But the moment there’s an issue, you’re completely on your own.

EasyPark is an excellent app — it works flawlessly and I’ve used it across several countries, including France, Italy, Hungary, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Always a smooth experience.

Unfortunately, it’s not widely adopted in Belgium, where many municipalities still rely on a patchwork of local apps. A missed opportunity, as EasyPark has everything it takes to become a European standard.
