While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Eater needs to dump Admiral so people can use their site

Eater is a wonderful site with great content. I sure wish I could access it as I always used to. They've colluded with a company called Admiral to block people who have jumped through numerous hoops to block their adblockers from gaining access to a site that used to be user friendly. Is Admiral someone's cousin? A junior high tech geek who doesn't know what he or she is doing? I've written to both Eater and Admiral, yet still the problem persists. Kinda sucks. Hard to imagine I'm the only one having this issue. Thanks Eater; it was fun while it lasted.

I've lost respect for this site.

I've lost respect for this site.

They did an expose on Panda Express and how it operates, but conveniently picked the one that is Corporate owned and is in fact near Corporate and regularly visited by them. So, of course the article and pictures were all sunshine, bunny rabbits and unicorns and rainbows. C'mon! Do an article about a Panda Express that is franchise-owned. Pick any one and see what a typical PE is like!
