the meat itself is very good however there are similar quality butchers which offer better bulk buys or deals on kilos of bread or mince etc. this is a conundrum for me wanting to support British butchers as opposed to places like saffron alley along with buying the meat there is a whopping 250g discrepencey on the weights of meats so you buy between 750-1kg for example. that's too much gap that can be way more accurate and almost seems lazy

Just had my first delivery from this company, (whilst the delivery made by DPD was a joke and this has been taken up with DPD), I ate my first meat from the order last night.
The best steak I have eaten in years, (rump), it was excellent.
When I have eaten my way through the rest of my order I will certainly be ordering again.

I ordered for the first time last month.
Ordered cuts that I don't normally get in the supermarket or local butchers as cheeks and osso bucco.
Delivery was on time and everything was well packed and meat was cleaned of fat.
I have cooked now all the meat have no complaints.
I added a tray of Cumberland to reach the minimum for free delivery and loved the flavour.
I will definitely order again!

The food was fantastic, I must say some of the best flavours I have tasted in a very long time, a lot better than the big names in the city centre I have eaten at. The staff…. Well let me mention my waiters

I decided to skip the usual supermarket Christmas meats, and ordered from Eat great meat instead. I am so glad I did, I have not eaten such tasty turkey and ham since my childhood when my uncle had a farm. The delivery was right on time and the preparation and presentation of the meat was perfect. I will never buy supermarket meat again.

Ive made 5 orders over the last year, all have been completed as per the arrangement when ordering with really good quality meat

Regularly order our meat from this company, they are local to me but offer national delivery. Food quality is top notch.

I have used Eat Great Meat on several occasions and can honestly say the meat is first class. I have had beef, lamb joints and steaks. The best Sirloin joint I have ever had!! Delivery is on time and the meat packed perfectly. I have found the Company excellent when requesting thicker steaks (my choice) and very friendly on the phone. I thoroughly recommend them.

I ordered from eat great meat and was not disappointed. I was surprised they delivered as I am in Kent. I placed my order and chose my Date and delivery time. All was well packaged and the meat was delicious. Will definitely be ordering from this company again.

First started using these guys as a treat but now use regularly- really excellent product only beaten by their level of service - thoroughly recommend.

Quite simply a huge step up from the usual supermarket fare. We love it all, from sausages to roast to steaks, it is just a much better, more individual eating experience. My personal favourite is the T-bone, and through it I have learnt to cook steaks perfectly! Who would have have thought we would be eating wagyu burgers?

Incidentally, one of the 2 bad reviews below is for a restaurant, not an online butcher. it's a shame eatgreatmeat do not read these reviews, it should be removed.

We also had a few issues with delivery early in the pandemic, it is fine now.

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! I have a massive complaint to make and i promise i will be taking this further. I was not expecting to send this message however i have been conned for sure and will be telling each and every one of my followers not to go to this drive through!!!

The law stipulates that all restaurants must serve food that is of satisfactory quality. This means that the food must be fit to eat as well as served at an appropriate temperature. If food is served that doesn't meet these standards, the customer is entitled to request a replacement meal, or a full or partial refund.

Adam, your manager was very rude. He has clearly expressed a message that money is more valuable to yourselves rather than a happy customer!!

He had the nerve of classing me as a fraud by accusing me of regularly complaining about food.

This was my first time visiting and surely will be my last after the way i was treated!

Adam the manager was advised to refund me as the food had not been touched. It was still intact inside the container!

We were kind enough to offer to pay for the food we tried which did not meet satisfactory standards.

This is not a threat however i will take this further and touch base with trading standards as well as leave a review on any platform i can find if this is not resolved in an amicable manner.

I have attached a video of your manager clearly denying a refund for the food which was not touched and was denied upon arrival as soon as it arrived.

Please be advised i will fight this on the basis of principles morality and dignity! Your manager has undermined us and made us out to be frauds! This a bold accusation which will not be forgotten!

I placed an order for approximately 180 pounds worth of meat three weeks ago with a delivery date of Friday 18th December on Wednesday 16th December I received a mail telling me the order was cancelled and my money refunded due to me delivery area. This was very disappointing as I had made arrangements based on receiving my delivery. Poor show poor service.

Great company. Prompt delivery. Great cuts of meat. Straightforward ordering service. Great prices. I would certainly recommend this company and would always use them from now on.
