PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THIS MEAL PREP COMPANY.

The packaging it comes in is really handy I have ordered from other meal prep places and the plastic always breaks and falls in the food but this was a great storage solution.
The food taste so amazing and fresh my favourite is the black bean stir fry✋ Taste delicious and you can see just how fresh this stuff is.
The portions are quite big my only negative feedback would be to maybe dial the portion of the carbs down, i found with the goat cheese stuffed peppers, that the cous cous was way to much and it was hard to eat all of it, it became to much.
But all in all the whole experience of ordering and delivery was easy and the food is really great.
Will defo be ordering again

Surprisingly good quality

So far the Green Thai Chicken and Jamaican Jerk have been very good.

The £5 P&P is a sticking point though.

Price per meal should be no more than £4.50 including P&P

Having ordered pre-prepared meals before from other companies I ordered Zest after seeing an advert on social media. The food looked good, price acceptable and there was a discount code if I entered my email address. After entering my email address a discount code poped up but was not then accessible anywhere and as I hadn’t written it down during the few seconds it was on my screen I had to make my first order without the discount. I placed the order which was simple and easy. My order however did not arrive and Zest favoured the DPD drivers story and that he apparently tried to deliver. I was home and no calling card was left which suggests to me he didn’t even try to deliver. I made a second complaint and requested escalation following which a second delivery attempt was sent. I had ordered the meal for a specific week ahead of a half marathon event so whilst not ideal I accepted the second delivery as there was no option for a refund of my money.

Second delivery did arrive (I sat at my window for an hour waiting to see the van) but the drivers van was in a very undesirable state and I did enjoy the thought of eating food that had been transported in a grubby old transit in which the driver was smoking.

Meals were acceptable but distinct lack of vegetables compared to grains/carbs/meat which for me it’s what I look for in a balanced meal.
