HI,
I had several incidences were I was surprised about the lack of pro activity when dealing with issues/problems.

Last week the portal was down so I called the support and was informed that this is a known issue and they are working on it. I would expect:

1. users will be informed via email about the issue with estimated fixing time
2. users will be informed via email as soon the issue is fixed
3. Apologize

Another issue today.

I called asking for an exam voucher. Support mentioned this can not be send out due to technical problems. I shall call in 1 week again.

This should be handled more professional by reaching out to the customer proactively (e.g. I will send you an email as soon is fixed). Additionally, not clear for me why it takes so long?

Currently I am studying on-line courses by e careers through British Gas trust. The courses are helping me to brush up my skills and also give me the opportunities to study other fields I couldn't do before.
They are free and I am grateful.
Excellent scheme and service.

I paid them for Payroll course a deposit of £40 but whenever I tried to access the course the login details were wrong. I tried emails and phone calls but rubbish response. i dropped the idea of doing the course in the long run.

I really enjoyed the course would recommend it.

After paying over £1,000 on courses, upon wanting to sit an examination it turns out that the tests that I signed up for are not compatible for any laptop that does not support Windows 7. Upon speaking to the team at Ecareers for resolution, they are currently refusing to give me a refund as 'No other user has experienced such difficulties'.

In short, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I have completed my course and then successfully completed the exam.
I then contacted them to establish when I will receive my certificate to find out it is yet again another scam....!

I received an email from Roger Wilson (Senior Executive) telling me it is now a practice exam and I need a voucher for the proper exam.
He then did not answer any further communications.

I then went on the site to speak to them and entered the chat function with Ricky Gibson.....he has not answered any comments after telling me he would look up my details..

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

DO NOT TAKE A COURSE WITH THESE IDIOTS

Totally unprofessional

I was given nutrition course on half price which I found a great offer. It was well informed by the adviser. This course was quite helpful not only to learn about nutrition but also job sector as well. I wanted to refesh myself in this f ield as I have done Engineering in Food Technology. I would definetly recommend this site to my friends.

Please beware of this company especially if you need help. I received the worst customer service and the worst experience. What a waste of money and time. The Manager of the refunds and cancellations department admitted that they do not use their initiative when it comes to customer experience and helping customers. This means they will not help you if they see a problem with the course or to help find a solution.

The language the manager used would not be tolerated in any UK call centres but she used such language. I have been lied to on so many occassions and I will be taking my complaint further by writing to the head office and higher management.

Be careful when dealing with the company and ensure you have it in writing. I have not gained anything from the course or e-careers but I want people to be aware of the company.

I found the course interesting, there was a lot of content which was excellent.
Very good customer service, if I had to call for any questions there was always someone polite and helpful on the end of the phone.
I look forward to using this for my new career.

E- Careers Accounting and Bookkeeping , Essentials Skills Course is very well constructed step by step and easy learning. I had some knowledge of Bookkeeping from before but this was a good refresher for me. There is also a Progress Test at the end to allow you to utilise the knowledge you have gained through out all the units. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants a career change in to Accounting and Bookkeeping.

i have just finished an online level 2 teaching assistant course its so easy to complete and you can do as much or as little as you want as long as you complete within a year thanks ecareers joanne cooper

Brilliant course, easy to use online. Very helpful call centre, would definitely recommend.

Really useful course. The best part was the 50 Sage software. But in my opinion you should include more practical tasks in that part and more time to use the Sage 50 software. Not just 6 months because in my case I didn't realised that once you download the software you can only use it for 6 months. I downloaded it in the beginning and wasn't enough time for practice.
Also in the knowledge units. After every unit need more practice tasks also.
For me the course was useful and I hope that will help me in my career as bookkeeper .

This is a great informative course and really user friendly. The only slight downside I would say is that when I purchased the course I was told I would not need Excel installed on my system but I found that I got much more out of the course when I was able to practice along with the videos. All in all a good choice with good prompt customer service

The course was easy to understand, well laid out and in a simple format that was simple to follow.

I have just completed the L2 Teaching Assistant Course, I found the course to be extremely helpful and good. It caters for many learning styles including diagrams, buttelt point of information and good information to help the learner learn. I would highly recommend e carers to friends and family and will also most definitely use them again to future learning. The e learning portal was relatively easy to use once you got the hang of it. One of the things I found exceptional was the online support a definite 10 out of 10.

My name is Wesley conroy I did the food safety whit ecareers I found it to be one of the best on the market I lerned a lot from the course and as I lerned there was a lot of questions along the way whitch made you not forget I whould do more course whit ecareers as I found them to be for knowegeble

I started a webdesign course which apparently normally costs £1800 but it's now available for £499. Before getting it I asked if the software programs come with course, I was reassured it does. I knew there was something off because it sounded too good to be true so I told them I can only pay in installments. Which they agreed. Once I began the course it's so boring and bad the person sounds monotone. YouTube tutorials are way better.

I straight away realised I could not get involved because you have to download the programs yourself. Things like photoshop, indesign, illustrator. It's lies and a struggle to download them. Do not use them.

I have since written to the company to no avail... very unprofessional as they did not reply to any of my letters.

These companies/ employees get paid by reaching targets so they will sell you lies.

THERE IS NO REFUND EVEN IF YOU USED IT FOR 1 MINUTE AND REALISED THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU WERE SOLD.

NEVER AGAIN.

A very interesting course and very useful to my current job. The course is very well laid out and easy to follow even though it is all done online. The explanations are easy to understand, as it comes with the training materials and presentations. No pressure during the entire course because I can sit on it on my own time and pace. Highly recommended to anybody interested on any course!!!!
