Jessie very informative
Jessie very informative, did a great job explaining the process of our sale. He courteous and polite. He knew the policies of EchoPark highly recommend u see him on ur next visit
Be careful
We did not enjoy our experience buying a vehicle from Echo Park. There is no customer support as soon as you leave with car. No help if you have a problem.
5 STARS
I recently purchased a 2017 Hyundai Sonata Sport at the San Antonio Outlet location in Texas. It was the easiest process to ever go through in regards to purchasing a vehicle that you can guarantee you'll love. I was able to be find the vechile I liked online and get preapproved before even heading to the dealership which was awesome. I was able to test drive the vehicle as well. I was personally assisted by JESSE and he made sure I had all the safety features I needed to drive my 3 year old around. I had an amazing experience, and my car runs, drives, and feels brand new! I am so happy with my vehicle, the service I recieved from the whole team as well - and I will make sure everyone I know what an overly exceptional experience I had with EchoPark.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM
Bought a car in Sept 2020 just went through my paperwork and they included a bunch of warranties that i did not ask for or approve. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM....REPEAT....DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM...DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM
Man these guys are a waist of time
Man these guys are a waist of time. Got here at 10am it’s 1:40pm in the afternoon and I’m just now singing the papers. The sales people are trained to add warranty for the sales contract and after telling him I don’t want it I had to yell at him to take it off when he came back with it attached.
I hope I won’t have to buy a car from here again.
Every person here is just wolves disguised as sheep.
Do not trust this dealership
We purchased a vehicle in October 2019. At first we thought everything was great. We were highly pressured into purchasing the Permaplate Appearance and Dent protection. We originally declined but kept being pressured and were told that it pays for itself the first time you get your car scratched by a shopping cart in a parking lot. Fast forward several months....someone ran a shopping cart down the driver's side of our car while in a parking lot. I called Permaplate to make a claim to have it fixed and was told that was not covered. I explained that the EchoPark sales rep at the Thornton store specifically sold us the policy saying that type of damage was covered. The Permaplate rep apologized, but basically said we were lied to and they could do nothing to help. I've been in contact with EchoPark corporate to no avail. DO NOT PURCHASE WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND DO NOT BACK UP THEIR WORD. All we asked was to refund the money we spent on the warranty as it was sold to us under false pretenses. Save yourself trouble and go elsewhere....if they will lie about this, they will lie about anything. Very disappointed.
Avoid this dealership at all cost
Avoid this dealership at all cost. The sales process is relatively easy because they truly have a no haggle price. During the sales process, the staff is friendly and seem to want to work for you however after the sale, the service is non-existent. After the purchase, I drove the vehicle home and immediately started to notice noises in the suspension. I called my salesman, Cody, to address the issue, he explained that he would schedule a service appointment but he never called back. I left 2 vm and a text message but still no response. They promised a 30 day/1000 mile guarantee/warranty but trying to schedule an appointment to have maintenance issues addressed was like pulling teeth. I eventually drove 45 minutes to the dealership to talk to someone. On the way back to the dealership, a piece of the undercarriage cover fell off and with it dragging underneath the car I continued on to the dealership. Upon arrival, I speak with Destiny, a customer service rep who takes my car to the service department to have them look at it. In the meantime, I speak with a sales manager named Joseph and explain my regrets about buying the vehicle because this is only Day 3 of my purchase and things the experience thus far is terrible. He advise me that I couldn't swap the car but I could trade it in but at a $1500 loss. I found it absurd to lose that amount of money within 3 days so at this point I'm forced to lick my wounds and to swallow my 4 year commitment. Soon after, Destiny returns with the car and say that they have to order another cover and she will call when it comes in to have it installed. She also explained that they would address the suspension noises at the time of the appointment. I waited 9 days with no response so I decided to call her. Of course there is no answer so I left a vm. The next day, I get a vm from a Mariam saying that the part is in and I need call to make an appointment. I quickly call back to get a Mike on the phone who has no idea why I was calling but would get back to me. Fortunately, Mike kept his word and called back within 10 minutes with an appointment time for the next day. I brought my car in on the next day (Day 13 since purchase) and met with Destiny. She soon returned to state that the service team cannot trst drive the car to troubleshoot it because it only has 1/8th of a tank of gas. I'm not sure of how far they have to drive to rest drive it but I'm sure that it could have been done with that amount of gas. So after leaving the dealership to go and refuel my car, I am now sitting in the waiting room, waiting on the news of the repairs, writing this review and further regretting ever stepping foot in this place.
Terrible Place to buy a car
Terrible Place to buy a car
They will lure you in with a no haggle price and add THOUSANDS of dollars after wasting HOURS of your time. Their google reviews and carguru reviews are FABRICATED by their own employees looks like. If you look at the accounts most of them have only left one review.
o Haggle price “14999” Drive out price “31000”
Refused to sell me the car after I opted out of the warranties and didn’t have a trade in
Wasted 5 hours thinking I was going to settle on this car for a reasonable price
Just would not recommend at all, stay away. You’ll be paying thousands more just for a little fancy showroom and scam artist.
Horrible Experience
Worked with Jorge Martinez at the San Antonio location on a Toyota CHR. He pulled our credit, all details were worked out and we were scheduling a test drive. As soon as we said we need all of the various insurance they tried to push on us, suddenly the car was out on hold for someone else. After calling to speak to a manager, was told that’s just how it is. Will never recommend Echopark to anyone!
Mixed Review for Echo Park
THE sales person JENNA was GREAT! she came in and stayed way passed he time and came in on off time!
The one manager guy was very helpfull also.
The biggest issues I have with echo park were!) they didnt detail the vehicle inside or out. Or if they did they did a really bad job of it. the inside had animal fur and sand in the back seat are. they never lifted the lift up sections and cleaned under there at all. lots of fur and trash. Also they only put Armour all or what ever on the front air dam...no where else!!
AND THEY CHARGE YOU $700.00 FOR THIS NON SERVICE.ALSO THEY DONT FILL THE TANK...THEY LEFT THE TANK BELOW 1/4 . The second issue was it took so long after we gave our downpayment to get the peppers out and get them signed. I understand that they put the wrong zip code in but it took anouther 65 mins. to get that corrected and back out so we could resign...I guess they dont do auto contracts everyday so it must be a learning experiance???
Now after contacting them they did agree that if we drove the hour back down they would detail the vehicle for us...we declined. After seeing the job their " detail crew" did the first time We elected to detail it ourselfs.
SO YOU HAVE TO WATCH THESE GUYS ON THE GAS AND DETAILING AND THEY ARE VERY SLOW TO GET THE CONTRACTS DONE CORRECTLY.
Great car buying experience!
Excellent customer service. Great car buying experience. Honest, professional, straight forward pricing with no surprises. Will definitely be a first choice when considering buying another quality used vehicle. Thank you
5 stars to 1 in a week
I was impressed all the way through the sales process, other than hours of waiting. Our sales rep, Cody was professional and responsive...until we had signed the papers. They promised to over night the navigation chip they had removed from the car. It's been 10 days. No chip and no one will answer the phone or call me back when I leave a message. They went from a 5 star to a 1 over their terrible customer service after the sale. I will contact the consumer fraud division at the Texas Attorney General's office if the Nav chip doesn't show up within a week. Buyer Beware is right!
A pretty packaged scam
I *almost* bought a vehicle from them this March. They did not 1... not 2... not 3... but FOUR credit checks in one day. Anything over 2 inquiries in a year decreases your credit score. Moreover, they say their cars are mostly still under original warranty. Yeah, barely, if at all. They specialize in "newer" used cars, most around 3 years old, and all of those are at the dead end of their original warranty, if not done already, and they push, and I mean PUSH, not suggest, an over $3,000 warranty coverage plan (actually 2 separate plans to comprehensively cover different things) to the vehicle, which is where they make their big bucks. If you can afford it, then that's great!
But... You are WAY better off going to a certified car dealership that guarantees their vehicles, already have long term inclusive warranty plans, and cars of the same usage and value as Echo Park.
Total Waste of Time
It has been truly frustrating working with this dealership. If you are not going to be on-site to purchase right away, do not waste your time with them trying to get paperwork in place to get the car you want. With everything in place and ready to purchase, the online call backs and texts kept referencing a car that we were not interested in. After 5 days of finally getting the correct information and putting in paperwork to put the car on hold, we were told the car had sold. Would not recommend!
Buyer beware
Buyer beware. They say they are no haggle but they will try to sell you their lame extended warranty. When I went to purchase a BMW X3 at the Colorado Centennial location they lied through their teeth about how BMW would honor the warranty without service records. When I asked them to put that in writing they wouldn't. Make sure you do your homework should you decide to finance with them. They will say they have the best rates but there were grossly higher than what I could get directly from my credit union. The manager at this location lied through his teeth on several occasions during the three hours I was there and I ultimately walked away from the deal. In my opinion they are shady as heck.
Scam game
Scam game! The VERY FIRST THING the do is SELL YOUR INFO! Never again
George Harris I Was Impressed!
I was positively impressed on my first ever visit to EchoPark Charlotte. It was different because I first had to set an appointment. Everything went as planned since they did have me listed as an expected visitor. I met George Harris, who turned out to be a knowledgeable and attentive salesman. Upon my next day visit, I arrived back and found my selected vehicle was all ready for me to drive it off the lot. The deal negotiating stage was smoother and more non-combative than I had prepped myself to expect. When finished, we wrapped up a win-win situation.
