Everything went smoothly, and the route was well planned, and manageable. However, it would have been good if ECTIV had explained that we would need to present the paper copy of the voucher at each hostel, to prevent surprises once we arrived.
I traveled from the US to take the tour along with my sister who came from the Netherlands. My app never worked. I emailed for assistance, but nobody got back to me. Therefore, I fully rely on my sister. The app (trails) were not easy to follow and we got into major problems one day facing Shepards dogs extremely agitated one attacked my sister. We then could not continue on the trail as it was extremely dangerous. We could not turn around because of the dogs who came twice after us. We had to find a way down the valley that ended up with an emergency call to be air lifted. I wish there was a better knowledge of the trails offered, the reality on those trails at this time of the year and better way to communicate with the clients.

The Austrian travel partner that Ecktiv introduced was a rather German oriented partner. Hindside the 8-day trip was way too expensive with lots of additional cost. Arranging everything ourselves would definitely have been worth the effort.
