High quality and cost effective loft provider
We had a really positive experience using Econoloft for our loft conversion. They were really professional and provided clear and easy to understand advice on all the elements around doing a loft conversion such as party wall agreements.
The quality of the work was excellent and now a year after completion it is still as good as when it was first done. They were able to complete to work within the agreed timelines with now delays even though we upgraded some of the specifications.
We were really happy with the outcomes and the fact it came at a great price was an added bonus.

The second time we’ve used Econoloft
This is the second time we’ve used Econoloft. The first was on our maisonette and we were so pleased with the process and results we went back to them years later in our Victorian terraced house. We have gone from a three bed house to five plus an extra shower room. We use the room on the outrigger as an office and the loft room is a sewing room/spare room/space for teens to hang out in. It’s made the world of difference to how the house works for our family.

More space most successfully delivered
I had my loft conversion done by Econoloft in the summer of 2022. The team assigned to my job were first class. The head builder (Ernest) said at the start 'you're going to love your new loft' - he was right! And nearly three years later it stands up as a beautifully executed piece of construction. Ernest was attentive to my specifications and design preferences throughout and liaised well with the other trades involved - plumbers, plasterers, electricians, decorators. I'm so grateful for his attention to detail.
The team at Econoloft from the sales representative to the office staff supporting me along the way were kind and responsive. They held my hand through the planning application, party wall surveys, throughout the build, and during building regs sign off. Communication was timely and clear. During any building process there are inevitably, unavoidable hiccups along the way - in those instances the MD was at the end of the phone and a solution was swiftly found.
Another frustration with any build can often be the snagging process. All snags were scooped up efficiently and to my full satisfaction.

We were very impressed that when we first met Danny about our proposed extension, he was very knowledgeable and gave us great ideas. When we accepted the quotation we soon met the chap who drew up plans and helped us through the whole process of planning etc. Unfortunately there were some delays due to Covid restrictions but we now have a loft conversion with two bedrooms that we are very pleased with.

Superb experience, start to finish
Econoloft converted our loft into a bedroom and dressing room/bathroom in 2021. It was a thoroughly great service feom start to finish. From initial quote, reviewing drawings, sorting planning permission.
We waiting 6 months so their preferred joiner was available and we were thouroughly involved in on the job, live design adjustments, recommended storage we hadn't thought of or considered.
We have access restrictions at our house so no lorries, or cranes or skips could be used. Was no problem, all rubbish bagged, stacked neatly and they removed it at the end of each week.
Hardly came in the house, went straight up the scaffolding, into the loft area from day 1. Only the house when needed and putting stairs in, New interior walls and doors, and plastering. Couldn't rate econoloft or their choice of tradespeople highly enough. You will not regret chosing these.

Econoloft - Structural Loft Conversion
We found Econoloft at the Grand Designs Live Show in London and from that arranged a home visit to discuss a structural works only conversion.
From our initial chats, through to the design and build, we were happy with the whole process.
There were a couple of issues, first with original drawings which were rectified and secondly during the build a leak in the roof but the team dealt with these promptly.
Our biggest gripe would be with the scaffolding company who erected some of the scaffold on our neighbours wooden decking without notification (fortunately our neighbour was fine with this!), and on completion, they dismantled the scaffolding from 6.30am on a Sunday morning!!
