Chicken nourishment
From the moment I spoke to the people at ECO nourish I knew they were genuinely mad about chickens. My hens were rescued , skinny , scruffy and not producing eggs on a regular basis . The eggs they did produce had very flimsy shells. The girls have been on a regular supplement of ECO nourish all their feathers are back, eggs are daily and best of all the chickens are so tame because they know they’re getting special treats from us. Delivery is efficient, the girls in the office are on hand with any questions . Thank you from us and the Brontë Susters

Flock love them but more information
It was a swift purchase. Flock loves them! More information though on how to keep them (one tube very dormant, the other, the 2nd used was more active) but also the amount given as it’s different for example Bantams but this is not explained on website.

Hello! Thank you so much for your review and your super helpful comments. Following some advice from a poultry nutritionist we've recently updated our feeding guidelines. Bantams are fine to have the full 10g portion - the 10g is a recommendation that is guaranteed to be a safe level. We send out portions of this amount to make sure all hens can't get too much - but owners can feed larger breeds MORE if they choose to at their discretion. Hope this makes sense. We've sent you an email about the difference in activity levels to find out more about how they were stored so we can update our advice. :-)

Yay! Glad you approve of the new seal on the lid. We've got new and improved tube packaging in the works, where the internal tube should be flush with the lid and eliminate the need for the seal. Watch this space!
A brilliant little company
A brilliant little company - I love their Instagram feed and it’s full of helpful information. I have ordered twice and both times the product has arrived so quickly and is very well packaged. The ‘wrigglers’ are a firm favourite and have been really helpful for one of my poorly chooks, helping her back to health.

My hens favourite treat
My three hens absolutely loves this and they get so excited when they see the box in my hand. I have stopped buying other treats as there is no waste with the live larvae but it is also costing me £13 a week for three hens and with their main food at the top end of my budget- luckily I only have three hens to treat !

Great product.
Bought these for my girls @meetthepobs and they absolutely love them. Quick and immediate dispatch. Well packaged and arrived the next day. Highly recommend these as a great source of protein and enrichment for hens, especially during flockdown for Avian Flu and moulting.
The Calci worms are born and raised in the UK so there is traceability and accountability as to the breeding and feeding regime following DEFRA guidelines.
Give them a try!

Great food option for my chickens!
I had no idea of the benefits of live feed for my chickens until my friend told me about Econourish. The chickens love the larvae and its cost effective for me and the subscription service means I don't need to worry about reordering! Great product and great service 👍

I highly recommend ECOnourish. The Black Soldier Fly Larvae (aka Calci Worms) are the perfect treat for my chickens, they go absolutely crazy for them!
