EdEx
I recently had the pleasure of working with EdEx in my search for a teaching placement, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From the outset, the team demonstrated a clear understanding of the education sector and a genuine commitment to finding the right fit for my career goals. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process, making it a stress-free experience.
I want to specifically commend Ryan for his outstanding support. He was always available to answer my questions, providing clear and helpful advice that gave me confidence in my decisions. Ryan's professionalism and dedication truly set EdEx apart.
I had an excellent experience with Josh at EdEx
I had an excellent experience with Josh at EdEx Recruitment. He secured me an interview at an excellent school really quickly and handled everything from start to finish with real efficiency and care. The whole process felt smooth, stress-free, and well-organised, with clear communication throughout.
Josh was supportive, proactive, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. Thanks to his help, I got the job! I’m really grateful for his efforts and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a role in education.

Josh was super helpful- providing very clear and detailed guidance on how best to present myself and helped me land a role first time of asking! Appreciate all the help and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a role!
They spam job sites with fake vacancies
I have seen multiple adverts by this agency on job boards for positions in my local area. So, I applied. After not hearing anything I called up the agency only to be told by the person that I haven't been contacted because there are no jobs in my area. So maybe stop spamming job boards with fake vacancies you don't have.
Extremely positive experience!
I had an extremely positive experience with EdEx. Joe couldn’t do enough to help me land an amazing role. From the start he was genuinely friendly and approachable! Great communication and preparation for my interview/trial to where I felt completely at ease going in. Highly recommend EdEx if you’re looking to find a role in the education sector.
Great communication from the start!
Great communication from the start!
It took less than an hour to be contacted by EdEx after registering with them.
Josh has been incredibly supportive and helped me find the perfect fit for me.
Very unprofessional
I’ve had a very disappointing experience with EdEx Education. They contacted me once about an interview, but it was for a school that was clearly not a good fit. After that, I didn’t hear anything for a long time.
A year later, Josh messaged me on LinkedIn saying he wanted to speak. We agreed a meeting time, but he didn’t show up. He apologised and arranged a second meeting, and again he didn’t attend. I followed up on LinkedIn and by email with no response. I also emailed again about a role they advertised that I was interested in, and still received no reply.
Overall, this has felt unprofessional and a waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience.

Both Charlie and Joe were so helpful and supportive in finding me a new role! I was quite specific with the kind of role I wanted and they were able to find a perfect fit for me! Thank you both so much :)
Best results I've had!
Best results I've had!
After months of agencies that have been flaky, uncommunicative, or just unhelpful, Edex have been the perfect people to work with. I had a job that I love within a few days of Ryan contacting me, and he's offered all the knowledge, support and encouragement I needed to feel at home in my new role. I cant reccomend Ryan or Edex enough to anyone looking for a job in education.
Highly Recommend
I had a great experience working with EdEx. Both George and Ryan were super helpful in finding me a job in an incredible school that fit my criteria. They provided me with all the information I needed, allowing me to feel prepared and comfortable on my trial day, helping me to secure the job.
Excellent support and experience with EdEx
I had an excellent experience with EdEx, and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a role in education.
I was supported throughout the entire process by Joe Pearce, who was outstanding from start to finish. Joe was consistently helpful, supportive, and highly approachable. He offered thoughtful advice and honest counsel at every stage and went well beyond what I would normally expect from a recruitment agent.
Joe provided me with valuable resources and detailed research to support my application and interview preparation, which made a real difference. His knowledge of the role, the school, and the wider recruitment process was excellent, and he was always available to answer questions or offer reassurance when needed.
Thanks to Joe’s support and guidance, I successfully secured the position that was advertised. The whole process felt professional, well-managed, and genuinely supportive.
I’m extremely grateful for Joe’s help and would not hesitate to recommend both him and EdEx to other educators.

I would recommend using EdEx to help you to find your next teaching role. They can be quite slow with their communication at the beginning which can be difficult as you are not sure if your applications are progressing however once they find a role they think will suit you they support you throughout the process. Ryan was very helpful and helped me find a great teaching role

Charlie has been really helpful in matching me with a great job that I'd likely never have found without her and EdEx's help. I've felt very supported by her through every step of the application process and would definitely recommend the EdEx.

I contacted EdEx recruitment several times but no response. Call is going to voice mail. Very unprofessional
Great Company!!
Alex was so helpful in finding me a job for September! He took the time to listen to what I wanted, looked carefully for the right job for me and helped prep me for informal calls as well as interviews. So grateful for his help.
Dishonest and Unprofessional
Dishonest and Unprofessional – Avoid This Agency
My experience with EdEx has been nothing short of appalling. They placed me in a fixed-term LSA role at Harris Academy St John’s Wood, then completely abandoned me once the contract ended due to budget cuts — something I had no control over.
When I contacted them to ask for help finding another role, Ryan Bingham told me I’d be “too expensive” to work with now. Completely unacceptable and insulting.
Since then, I’ve applied to several of their advertised roles and repeatedly emailed a recruiter named Becca — who has ignored every message since July. - (We’re in October now)I’ve also called their main office numerous times, only to now be met with an automated message saying I’m “not allowed to call this number.” They’ve actually blocked me for no reason at all.
I even contacted George, the director of EdEx, to raise my concerns — and unsurprisingly, he hasn’t responded either.
This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and clearly doesn’t care about the people they claim to represent. Once they’ve used you to fill a role, you’re on your own. I would strongly advise anyone considering EdEx to stay well away — they’re only interested in profit, not people.

I sent an email through got a response but after that no follow up!was kind of disappointed as I tho that communication would of been better not to mention as well they contact you via email only ..no one bothered to call to say why they couldn't speak to me further .
Incredible agency!!
I found my university placement year through EdEx recruitment, and they have been brilliant throughout. I first had a phone call with George who was fantastic and made a great impression before moving me on to agents recruiting for the area I planned on living in, where I worked with James and Becca. They both found jobs that suited me extremely quickly, always kept me informed and provided extensive help in order for me to be completely prepared for trial days. It was with Becca that I found the role I am currently 3 weeks into and absolutely love, she kept in touch throughout the process with amazing guidance and support. Could not recommend more!
Becca- EDEX
Becca has been absolutely incredible! I have had such a good experience with this agency. Becca managed to get me a school placement that suited my needs very quickly! 10/10 would recommend Becca and this agency!
