An amazing experience
On 25 January 2026, I arrived at Edge Talent studio. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was immediately made very welcome by Sasha. I was blessed that day as I was the only person in the studio. Kamila did an amazing job on my makeup, I absolutely felt amazing!!! Caio took the shots and gave me direction, which immediately put me at ease. As a confident person, I didn't think I could be any more confident, but my pictures wow!!! I was left loving myself. My friends have commented on how amazing my pics are, and I plan to show them off as much as possible. Nikita and her team were fantastic. I would do it all again.

A realistic and professional start-highly recommend!
I’ve always wanted to give modelling a go but worried my height would be an issue. After a consultation and test shoot at Edge Talent, I realised how much demand there is for relatable looks in commercial modelling.
The day was good fun and a real eye opener for me—from professional hair and makeup to a photographer who made posing feel natural. Beyond the photos, they set up my online portfolio and Z-cards, making it feel like a real step forward. I’d highly recommend this to anyone curious about the industry but unsure where to start.

Edge Talent – Misleading “Model Consultation” Experience
I attended what was advertised as a “Model Consultation” with Edge Talent and left feeling misled about the nature of the business.
The initial communication strongly implied that Edge Talent operates as a modelling agency or talent representative. The email confirmation had no named sender, an incomplete address, and vague wording. Only after attending in person and directly asking questions did it become clear that Edge Talent is not a modelling agency, but rather a photoshoot booking company.
The process works as follows:
• You are invited under the premise of a model consultation
• You are offered “free” hair and makeup
• A photoshoot is carried out
• At the end, you are pressured to purchase the photos
• You are then given suggestions of external modelling agencies where you can send those paid photos yourself
At no point does Edge Talent act as an agent, represent you, or submit you to agencies. This crucial information is not made transparent upfront, which I find misleading—especially for young people or those new to the modelling industry.
If you are looking for:
• Legitimate representation
• An agency that books work
• Or professional career guidance
This is not what is being offered.
If you are simply looking to buy portfolio photos and are fully aware of that in advance, then you may find value here. But advertising this service as a “model consultation” creates false expectations.
I would strongly advise anyone considering Edge Talent to ask very direct questions beforehand and to be cautious about the way the service is presented.
Transparency matters—particularly in industries where many people are vulnerable to unrealistic promises.

To clarify for those reading, you chose to leave our studio before your appointment began and did not partake in the consultation or photoshoot process. Therefore, your description of our process, including the claim of being 'pressured' to purchase images is based on a process you did not actually witness or participate in.
During our brief and amicable conversation at reception, you mentioned that you had not reviewed our website, where we explicitly state that we are not a talent agency and do not find work for models.
We strive for full transparency, which is why we:
* Maintain a clear disclaimer on our website regarding our role as a portfolio and consultancy service.
* Provide a visible price list online so there are no surprises regarding the cost of imagery. If a client chooses not to purchase images, the day is indeed free of charge. We cover the full cost of the studio hire, professional photographer, and MUA regardless of whether a purchase is made.
* Explain our referral process, where we direct clients to external freelance casting platforms so they can use their new portfolios to apply for work independently alongside applying to agencies.
We respect your decision that our services were not what you were looking for, but we find it disappointing to receive a negative review based on a process you did not experience. We wish you the best of luck in your search for representation.
