Price above what was quoted
Called and asked the price. Was told £49 for a simple job. The man came out -£49 call-out charge and he said £165 for the job. I queried saying I was told it was £49 and he argued til he was blue in the face. I had no choice but to pay to get back into my flat. The job took literally 2 minutes. I called the office twice after- the first time he stated the same as before £49 for a simple job and was going to call the engineer. The second time he reverted to saying £49 call-out with payment on top. Scammers who don’t give the correct price to lure you into booking them
