Delighted with my recent damp proof course work. The team were efficient and the job attractively priced. The issues were diagnosed and explained to me and the wall restored to a good state ready for painting. I would recommend to anyone.

I live in an 18th century house and could see some damp on one side. Graeme visited the property and after taking the damp readings it was clear that the dampness was a result of water ingress from the roof. Despite there being no immediate work for him, he spent time explaining what needed to be done to dry the wall out as well as doing a visual inspection of the roof to help identify the source of the problem. He’s not going to do work for the sake of it (as I experienced in a similar situation previously) and gave expert advice, taking a longer term view that his help would lead to future work and recommendations. Which it most certainly will!

Absolute 5 star service from Graeme and Co from start to finish. Turned up on time every day as agreed. Really clean and tidy job, no mess left which was greatly appreciated. The finish is excellent and absolutely no hesitation in recommending this team. And the invoice matched the quote with no hidden extras. Last thing, they were really nice men to have in the house which is a big deal too.

I contacted Edinburgh Preservation Ltd because I feared that I might have rising damp in my basement property. Graeme came promptly and did a number of different tests. I was relieved to have his reassurance that levels in the property were acceptable and appropriate in a property of its age so I didn’t, in fact, require any treatment. Graeme was pleasant, straightforward and efficient and, should I have a problem in the future I would certainly ask Edinburgh Preservation Ltd to deal with it. I highly recommend them. Christine W

Graeme was very helpful after a few problems with leaks. He came on time and asessed the problem. His quote was half the price of other companies so I didn't need to claim on insurance. They turned up to repair it when they said, removed all the old rotten plaster, treated the wood and finished it beautifully ready for painting. I have just found another problem and he is again being very helpful and I'm sure this will be another good experience.

Graeme was absolutely brilliant. After having a horrific experience with our insurance and their " recommended" company Graeme was a breath of fresh air! Very responsive and very helpful. Came and did a damp survey on our property and gave a Brilliant report, that not only solved our problems but also didn't break the bank. Didn't chance his luck like a lot of others do, even came back out for a second viewing after finding and additional issue free of charge. Just completely honest and gave us the best, most cost effective solutions to our issues. Highly recommend 10/10 service

Graeme repaired our ceiling which had collapsed because of a water leak from the flat above. Due to lockdown everything was organised remotely and Graeme went the extra mile to clear our furniture etc as we were unable to do it ourselves, being elswehere because of lockdown. He kept us informed with updates and photos of the finished job. Graeme made the whole process quick and stress-free. Couldn't have been easier and delighted with the job!

Graeme and Dean completely stripped out our cellar which had previously been done incorrectly. They did a great job identifying the problem and re-doing it. They kept the area tidy while working and were really friendly and focussed. Highly recommend.

Graeme and his team diagnosed the problem and then rectified the problem swiftly, safely and at a very reasonable price.
When we required additional work on an old coal bunker attached to the house that hadn't been prearranged but needed completing quickly (we had other tradesmen coming in to start a job) Graeme made arrangements to have the damp proofing work completed before the tradesmen arrived.
First class service, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
