Horrible company

Horrible company. We used them because we were looking to save money on our insurance as it is very expensive in Florida. We have water damage to our children’s bedroom coming from our master shower. They sent out multiple people who all stated while they were in our home that multiple things would need to be replaced. Then after weeks of going through the process with multiple calls we get an email stating a loop hole that they found to not help with our claim. I called in to get more clarity and of course the agent just continued to state the loop hole. Please do yourself a favor and look for a different home insurance company. They definitely do not look out for their customers.

Avoid Edison Insurance at all costs

My experience with Edison Insurance Co was an absolute nightmare. They sent a drone over my property (without permission) and claimed I had 10 broken roof tiles—threatening to cancel my policy unless I fixed them. I went above and beyond, repairing 14 tiles, submitted before-and-after photos, and even provided a roofer's invoice. Despite all that, Edison still insisted I failed to show “proof” and outrageously demanded drone footage…as if every homeowner owns a drone?

I sold my home and moved over 1,000 miles away a year later and requested my policy cancellation. I submitted a deed transfer and bill of sale to request my prorated refund. Edison refused to honor it until I filled out their mysterious internal form—something they never mentioned until I pressed them for answers.

Their entire operation feels designed to avoid paying out and keep customers trapped in red tape. If you're looking for transparency, fairness, or basic customer service, look elsewhere. I would never recommend Edison Insurance to anyone. Check reviews for yourself and notice Numerous complaints about policy cancellations and poor communication

Edison Homeowners Insurance Co

Edison Homeowners Insurance Co. is a horrible company. They dropped me (in Florida) due to my roof being too old and I just purchased the house 2 yrs ago. Nonetheless, I presented them with a signed contract with a licensed Roofing Company, for a new roof installation and they still didn’t reverse their decision as if it was just a lie to cancel me anyway.
