We recently had EDIWOOD design and build a cabinet and shelving for a new home study. From start to finish Zoltan has provided excellent service, he responded quickly to any queries we had and we were provided with detailed plans/drawings for the project. We are delighted with the final cabinet, it is finished to a high standard and is a fantastic addition to the study. I would not hesitate to recommend Zoltan and his team for any cabinet making projects.

I was delighted to find a company that was able to make a bespoke, floor to ceiling, shelving unit for books and space for a mounted TV. I was able to book an appointment using the website and Zoltan was very helpful with design ideas. He kept me informed of timings throughout. The computer drawings he provided for the estimate were very detailed and professional and I was able to have the shelving painted the colour I wanted.
The installation of the unit took much less time than I expected and was finished in less than two days. The result is outstanding, very high quality craftsmanship and beautifully finished. The TV is adjustable and the wires are hidden. The soft closing drawers at the base of the unit have provided much needed extra storage space. I have already recommended Ediwood to friends and family.

Ediwood were very professional, in all aspects of our commission. Their work (installing bespoke bookshelves) has really enhanced our home. Many thanks to Zoltan and his team.

I did a lot of research before contacting Zoltan at Ediwood as I wanted traditional looking white built in cabinets either side of a chimney breast. He was quick to get back to me and responded to emails, texts and voicemails. A couple of times he took a few days to respond but he was very busy, which was actually quite reassuring.
The design and images were great and the project was finished in the time given. A couple of snags were finished off without any trouble.
Zoltan was super cheerful and proactive and very professional - very pleased with the work.

For my recent kitchen project I found Zoltan very easy to work with, from the planning stage to the final day of the project. His knowledge and problem solving skills go hand in hand with his excellent cabinet maker skills making him an excellent designer and creator. He worked on the kitchen design to make sure I got what I wanted, which I had been battling to achieve with every other kitchen designer.

His attention to detail and his love of his work means that the project was delivered to a standard that exceeded my expectations. He really cares about what he is making and works tirelessly until he is happy with the final product, which is a rare character trait these days.

As well as these great skills, and perhaps the USP, is that Zoltan has amazing vision and creativity. He can see what will work best and is so aware of how we use our homes, as well as how the final project will look. He has a great gift for helping you create truly beautiful pieces / projects that work and function exceptionally well for daily life.
I really have never met anyone who cares more about his work and making sure his client is satisfied with the project.

I had them come out to quote for a job, and since then I’ve been ignored. I wanted so wardrobes, was told they would get back to me in a few weeks. Chased them multiple times and got nothing. Waste of my time, such a shame because so many people rave about their work.

I first met Zoltan when he worked as a finishing joiner on the complete refurbishment of a period flat conversion that I own in Edinburgh city centre.

The project had lots of intricate woodwork and needed more than just a typical joiner - someone with really excellent woodworking skills.

More recently he has made a new panelled door for a vestibule, a decorative cupboard to hide a gas meter, lovely stained doorway thresholds (to match an antique balustrade/handrail), and rehung/adjusted and draught proofed doors.

He is polite, courteous, always full of ideas and sound advice, is very neat and tidy treating your house like his own, and always gives his customers really great service. His prices are always competitive, he is super reliable and trustworthy and I bet he could make anything out of a piece of wood and it would be beautiful.

Ediwood created a bespoke dual purpose bookcase, and bespoke walk-in closet including wardrobes, jewellery cupboard, and ladder with rail to reach the highest cupboards.

The customer service was outstanding with great communication every step of the way. I visited the workshop during the making process and was impressed with the working environment I witnessed.

On installation the men were friendly, organised, efficient, and tidy. I truly can't fault the workmanship, to the point where I have now commissioned a second wardrobe.

Definitely value for money on the quality of work and service. I can't recommend them more highly.

Zoltan and his team made a bespoke wardrobe and fitted bookshelves. Right from the start the service was excellent. Zoltan answered emails promptly, arrived on time, listened to our ideas but put his own in as well, and provided CAD drawings as part of the quote. The work was delivered on time, installed with the minimum of disruption and we are delighted with the finished product.

Zoltan designed and made exceptionally high quality bedroom furniture for our master bedroom.It has transformed the room with a much more elegant look and far better use of space and functionality. He was a joy to work with at all times. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

I used EDIWOOD to design, build and install a bookcase. Whilst commissioning furniture is never a cheap option, I can highly recommend using EDIWOOD. Zoltan and his team were responsive to my requirements and the process was very swift. I'm very happy with the result and workmanship.

EDIWOOD were excellent in every respect. I knew what I wanted in my head and Zoltan worked hard to get it onto paper and develop the design. It was quite a complicated project that needed to fit in with our old cottage which doesn’t have straight walls. Everyone admires the work and expects it costs a bit more than it did. Zoltan and his team created two walnut and oak cabinets for our client’s drawing room and two oak cabinets with gold and brass detailing for the dining room, all cabinets are spectacular and Ediwood exceeded our expectations! He followed our plans and drawings perfectly; his attention to detail is excellent and his service is friendly yet professional. Highly recommend, we will definitely be using Ediwood again. Great new library
I was delighted with Zoltan's professionalism and handiwork in making a new bookcase and desk for my study. He was very easy to deal with.

The custom-made mahogany bookcase was perfect and exactly what my mother-in-law wanted. The service was also excellent - efficient, professional and friendly.

Ediwood supplied replacement doors for a built-in wardrobe. Zoltan produced a number of designs, all of which were much more to my taste than anything else I'd looked at. They were also more expensive, but that's because everything is custom-made. Most of the work was done off-site, but the actual installation was completed within a few hours.
