I drive a Volvo V60 with 110,000 miles on the clock. I have just had the flushing and filtering using the EDT system this morning an test drove immediately following, The garage being on an urban street did not at first show any percievable improvement. I then drove onto the nearby dual carriageway and immediately noticed improved smooth quiet acceleration and significant increase in power.
I look forwards to seeing mpg improvement in the days to come. Irrespective of that, the treatment has already shown it's worth with the cleanest colour of engine oil I have ever seen in a Diesel engine.

Audi a6 allroad 177689 miles. Totally cleaned oil on stick and sump. Reduced emmissions from 0.44 to 0.26 unbelievable 50% reduction

Very surprised at this difference just had this done on my Vw caddy van and noticed the difference straight away.engine has gone quieter and more responsive with plenty of torque.Great people and a great service.

Very surprised by the difference. I have a V reg Mercedes SL500, full service history and runs like a dream. Gerry Doverman in Hereford, who looks after it, mentioned EDT. I was apprehensive, having been brought up with 'engines that are run in should be left and don't need flushing or cleaning' etc by my Dad. So demo day came, and Dave and his people from EDT drained the oil and attached the machine. Fifteen minutes later we were all a bit disappointed ... the machines filter looked very clean (tribute to Gerry Doverman for keeping it so good). Apparently the flush is usually black with the gunk that has built up in the engine. So, refill with 9lts of Mobil 1 oil, and off to see what's changed. Well ... the car has always been smooth changing gear (it's automatic) even when you boot it, but now there was clearly a difference. I could barely feel anything, apart from hearing the revs change; almost as though it had one gear (it has four) even when you floor it and it changes down two gears. It is also running at a slightly lower oil temperature, which presumably is due to the finer particles that cause friction having been taken out; the ones that wouldn't be removed by the standard oil filter. I am seriously impressed. I'm told it will also be more fuel efficient; we'll see over the coming months, not that that bothers me much. I would highly recommend this being done, especially if you have an older car that you feel is getting sluggish. Many thanks to Dave from EDT and to everyone at Gerry Doverman's ... very impressed when I was doubtful. Gerry has the EDT machine at his garage in Whitestone, just outside Hereford ... ring him (01432 278833) and book your car in. If mine is anything to go by, you will see a real difference in how it runs.

I work in motor trade and have always been sceptical about cleaning machines. When they came and treated my transit connect i couldnt belive when i drove it afterwards. Also the emissions were reduced by 30%. I will be telling everyone about it.

Absolutely blown away by this product, I had a demo done on my 170k mile Audi a6 and the result was amazing improved performance and shut up my slightly noisy timing chain, we at Hypermotive are going to become an EDT approved dealer on May the 25th 2018 and really excited to get behind this great system

Treatment suggested by Westerleigh Motors, Downend last year. Am glad I took it. My 2005 D5 Volvo estate with now 85000 on the clock runs even better, even faster and consumption has improved by 5-6 on motorways and 2-3 on shorter trips. I had thought the var computer was wrong showiung better figures but the old format of miles divided by gallons confirmed them.

I have just because involved with edt I’ve spent a bit of time researching there work as I’ve owned pitstop in Newcastle for many years as of joining today and seeing the results I’m astonished, I had my own car done 2013 bmw 420 which I’ve owned 3 years and serviced every year 36000 miles , the car has so much more power , I have been I’m motor mechanic for 40 years and really it makes Sense why put clean oil in a dirty engine

I was intrigued with this engine service and decided to try it. the guys that came where very friendly and imformative to myself and wife. the amount of contaminants that came out of my engine was very suprising and the filter in the machine was black. after the treatment the engine noise was considerably reduced and ran smoother. it made a difference to the emissions output too.

id like to add I am also a mechanic with over 20 years experience and very surprised at the results and would highly recommend anyone to take out this cleaning treatment, it is a small fee to get the results.

Yea my car revs up more freely. Will be using it again on my other vehicle.

I had been considering having my cars treated for a few years since I first read about the technology being available in the UK.

I finally decided to take the plunge on my Jaguar 4.0 XJS and arranged to have the treatment undertaken at Powerbase of Ashford, Kent. Unlike many cars that are treated, my car lives a fairly pampered life with oil & filter changes being undertaken on an annual or maximum 3000-mile interval. I knew from research and reviews that the treatment made sound sense, but I was not expecting any noticeable improvements in the way that the car drove. That was not my reason for having the treatment undertaken. I merely saw it as an essential element of preventative maintenance.

So, I was extremely surprised that I could hear and feel a real difference immediately I drove her! The already smooth idle was even better, the mid-range pickup was quicker and the car is just...better!

Common sense told that the treatment would be good for the long-term future of the engine and now the real-world driving experience gives an unexpected tangible demonstration of that benefit. Well done EDT! My only decision now is when to have the treatment repeated!

Fiat Doblo 2008 Family Multijet 1.3 Diesel 74000 miles on the clock. After the EDT noise reduced, much smoother and responded very much like a brand new diesel. Noticed the fuel gauge shows an improvement in fuel consumption and the Average and Instant fuel consumption has improved. Might cost, but well worth the effort. Well worth an EDT Treatment prior to any oil change.

I have a 61 plate insignia with 75k on the clock.
I’m not one for writing reviews but felt I should on this occasion. I had my car serviced with the edt treatment. I had this done in Bartons Garages in Plymouth. I can honestly say I noticed the difference as I pulled out of the garage and drove a short distance up the road! The next day I drove to London and my mpg had increased by 10 mpg. The car drove smoother and felt like a new car! Thank you Adrian for your advice.

As a mechanic with nearly 40 years experience on a large variety of engines there is not much that can really impress me.
But this certainly did!!!!
We had a demo done yesterday by David & Adam on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 crdi with 93k on the clock. We chose mine because it has had the oil & filter changed religiously every 10k so the oil & filter in it were only changed 3,000 miles ago.
The demo was informative and with most of my lads watching being engine fitters/re-builders we were all keen to see if it did what it said on the tin.
With the demo completed, oil & filter changed, the moment of truth was soon upon us. The car ran smoother (I didn't think it ran badly beforehand. How wrong was I) and the road test confirmed what had been claimed.
Power was up. Performance was up. And on the journey home, the economy was up as well. Add to that the oil after a 100 mile journey was still as clean as when I put it in.
I'm one of the most skeptical people I know but after this I am a convert & am currently in talks with our group buyers to get this product on board to increase our companies annual revenue.

Into Barton Garages in Crapstone for an EDT experience, all I can say is wow. Quiet and smooth like new plus better fuel economy. Adrian showed me what was flushed out and it's no wonder the performance was lacking before it was done.
Will certainly have this done as often as necessary and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I`m Mike Kennedy and am well known as a technical writer and reviewer of products and services within my monthly column of the Jaguar Enthusiasts` Club magazine.

I have an extensively modified supercharged XJR. Over the last two years it has been tuned to produce an estimated 585hp...that`s about 180hp more than a standard car! It is ballistically quick and I didn`t think it would be possible to get more power or economy from this car....that couldn`t be further from the truth! Enter EDT Automotive!!

So a trip down to Powerbase at Ashford in Kent for an engine decontamination service took place this morning with EDT Managing Director, David Holmes being present together with photographer Shaun and Adam the technician. Here is the background then.

I`d completed a fifty mile trip on the motorway at between 65-70mph and averaged 27.4mpg on the way to Powerbase. Recorded mileage was 93,333 on the ramp today. I decided to really put Davids` process under close scrutiny and attempt to find out what extra carbon and oil contamination could be extracted after effectively carrying out my usual DIY standard oil change procedure. This always entailed an oil change every 5,000 miles at the latest with that used oil being dosed with Wynns Engine Flush for twenty minutes before the oil was dropped and the K&N engine oil filter changed. My oil on this occasion had seen just over 2.500 miles of road use when the car was presented to David. You should have seen what came out of my sump!

I took to car for a post treatment run before returning to the workshop. Words failed me. Astonished or what?!!!! More power, instant pick up and 34.1mpg on the return trip. This XJR is now on laughing gas and feels as if it has grown another cylinder! If you have a sludged up and sluggish car...don`t hesitate to get an EDT done. This treatment process has totally exceeded my expectations. EDT rocks hard and is definitely the best cleaning treatment process I`ve applied to date. A five star rating is nowhere near enough. Thanks to all the EDT boys.
